"Located just around the perimeter of Lijiang ancient town north entrance. It gives me a superb convenience to take my journey within and outside of the ancient town. The guest house is directly linked to a coffee shop so you can enjoy sipping the famous Yunnan coffee in their courtyard if you don't feel like going out. I booked a 3 nights stay with Song Zhu Ju and had a very quiet and peaceful experience all day even though it's very near the supposed busy streets. Spending a few moments reading in the courtyard became my every night routine before bed because it is just too serene. Also 阿飞, the lady managers and staffs are very friendly and takes care of us. I liked the fresh persimmons so much from the guest treat. Breakfast is simple yet balanced, not overwhelming until you can't take your food journey elsewhere in Lijiang, so I think that's great. I personally had their meal and it lasted my entire Jade Dragon Snow Mountain trip till dinner Can't wait for my next Lijiang trip. Will definitely choose them again."

"The staff were helpful and friendly, but the hotel is in serious need of renovation. The photos online are outdated and don’t match the actual rooms. In my room, the wardrobe was blocked by the bed, so I couldn’t use it. There was no real space to unpack, just a small portable hanger. I was relieved to stay only two nights. The balcony is covered, which should be clearly mentioned in the description. The kitchenette was very small with only a kettle and two paper cups — not really usable. The fridge was tiny, unplugged when I arrived, and didn’t cool properly. The bathroom was cramped, with no space to hang towels or set down toiletries. There was no hand soap or small towels. The shower area had a warming light and towel hooks, but once used, everything stayed wet. Basic toiletries like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. The hotel has great potential. The location is excellent, the staff are wonderful, and the courtyard and large villa are nice features. However, I’d only recommend staying here after the facilities have been upgraded. The note is down a steep sets of stairs. The staff came to meet us at the top and help with our luggage when we arrived and when we left."

The highlight was definitely waking up to the stunning mountain views each morning — absolutely unforgettable. "Pullman Lijiang offers spacious rooms, but they feel dated. Carpets show wear and the LCD TV looks nearly ten years old—due for an upgrade. Breakfast is what you'd expect from a four‑star international hotel: decent variety and flavour, yet quality could be improved. The hotel sits about 20 minutes by car from Lijiang Old Town and roughly 30 minutes from the high‑speed rail station—convenient for travellers. During my stay, the hotel gifted me a bathrobe. Sadly, it arrived noticeably crumpled and appeared used, which detracted from the welcome. Overall, Pullman Lijiang is comfortable, but it needs attention in several areas."

"The hotel lobby has a beautiful view of Yulong Snow Mountain. The internal environment of the hotel is quiet and the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast is also very satisfactory. It is suitable for families with children or for relaxing vacations. It is a very pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. The room is comfortable and warm, with good soundproofing. The staff of the hotel are very enthusiastic and considerate, Jennifer，service attitude is excellent."

"My friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room With Bath Tub' at The Streets Where The Wind Lives (风居住的街道). The hotel housekeeper Mr Yu was incredibly kind, caring and helpful during our stay at the hotel - he went out of his way multiple times to ensure that our stay was comfortable and safe. Both the hotel owner and the housekeeper were always readily contactable via WeChat and made our stay in Lijiang really pleasant. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Lijiang Ancient Town! Number of nights of stay: 3 nights Hotel location: 500 metres (approximately 10-minute walk) away from the north gate of Lijiang Ancient Town. Will need to walk about 2 to 3 flights of cobblestone steps to get to the hotel from the vehicle drop-off point; we transported our luggage from the vehicle drop-off point to the hotel on our own but you can also contact the housekeeper for assistance. About 30-minute DiDi ride from the hotel to Baisha Old Town Room: The 'Deluxe Panoramic 720° View Double Bed Room' was located on the third floor; there was no lift but the housekeeper kindly helped us to transport our luggage to our room. There were one king-sized bed, two bedside tables (with type I wall power sockets), one long table in front of the bed, one rocking chair, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a beautiful view of Lijiang Ancient Town. There was a sky roof in the room too but it was covered with tarp on the rooftop during our stay. The bed and pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable and the room was clean. The only downside was that the wardrobe was small with limited space to hang our clothes Bathroom: Spacious bathroom with shower area and bath tub. Toiletries (e.g. hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap), disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, and towels were provided. Rubber bathroom slippers and disposable bedroom slippers were provided too Hotel amenities: Additional CNY 20/pax for breakfast at the lobby (8.30am-10am; noodles with tomato-based soup and minced meat; will need to arrange this with the housekeeper the night prior), communal washing machine (free of charge, inclusive of laundry liquid detergent; there is a small overhead rack to hang and dry the clothes after washing) Luggage storage: Complimentary and safe luggage storage in the hotel (e.g. if you are planning to hike and stay at Tiger Leaping Gorge for a night) Lijiang airport/station transfer: Free transfer arranged by the hotel for stays of at least three nights. Will need to arrange this with the hotel owner 1 day prior"
