"The bathroom was very tiny, the shower head was overlooking the toilet seat. The bed was too small for me to fit in, and a lot of things in the loft were mended/jerryrigged. However, for the extremely cheap price, and the location, I'd recommend it in a pinch. It was fairly clean."

"The location of the hotel is very convenient since it’s only a 5 minute ride to NanChang west railway station, or 15 minutes walking. The room has a very decent size but wasn’t cleaned properly, there were hair all over the bathroom and crumbles all over the couch. The device to boil water had a terrible smell and looked as bad as it smell. The price might be very affordable but the conditions aren’t good."

"Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out"

"I recommend you book this hotel apartment. The price and space you get is amazing. The only downside is the second floor bedroom height, not recommended for anyone taller than 5 foot 7 or 180 cm."

"Very friendly and informative front desk, they sent a detailed guide on wechat on places to visit. Furthermore, hotel is clean and easy to find, aircond is cold, bed comfortable. Location is absolutely amazing, 5-10 minute walk to wan shou palace to the left side of the hotel with Zhu Bao Jie just around the corner where you will find lots of street food, noodles and everything local. , tengwang ge is 5-10 minutes walk to to right of the hotel, Overall a good stay! Will definitely recommend"

"Great experience at the Swiss Grand. Would probably stay here again. Room was clean, and the location was ideal for us. It's walking distance to Tengwangge, and close to many lively pedestrian streets. The hotel staff probably does not see many foreign visitors, so there was some confusion with our documents at check in. However, it was quickly resolved."
