"The hotel is in the perfect location if you wanna visit TengWang pavillion. It's just right across the pavillion. From the moment we arrive at the reception, we feel warm with the friendly service. Our room is facing the TengWang pavillion with little extra bucks. Nice view both at day & night. Breakfast is decent with good choice. Kudos to all the staff in Mercure hotel. Especially thanks to Alex at reception who assisted me to contact the person on my next day at WangXian valley."

"Really liked this room, although one thing I would say is if you’re coming to China in a hot month (I was there in September) and you get a room where the bed is up the stairs, the air conditioning doesn’t really reach up there and it’s still pretty hot while being nice and cool down by the couch tv and bathroom. But the staff were helpful and the cleaners came quite often to empty the bins and change the towels so that was awesome."

"The staff was nice and the location is really convenient (right next to the metro station and short taxi ride to the city center). The furniture was quite old and the room quite sparse. The walls were dirty in places. The bathroom was the cleanest part, which is good. All in all, shouldn't be your first option but will work for a short trip."

"I was completely ‘WOW’ by the services and the cleanliness of my rooms during my stay at Shangri La Nanchang. The cleaners who cleaned my rooms were consistent in maintaining clean and sparkling surface top of my rooms. We were given connecting rooms (2713 & 2714) which made it easier for me to walk over to my children without stepping out of my room in my pyjamas. Manager Mr Hank Zhang ensured my stay was pleasant, convenient and enjoyable for me as he knew that I was staying there for 5D4N with my 3 children. Counter staff Ms Ava Li was friendly and professional in handling my request with thoughtful act and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff in Shangri La Nanchang for making my last lap of the China trip a pleasant, enjoyable and comfortable stay from 21 to 25 December 2024. I would strongly recommending EVERYONE to stay at Shangri La Nanchang. Lastly, the bell boy and traffic control staff were always helpful and friendly in treating every guest with respect. Well done Shangri La Nanchang for training all your staff with pride and respect. ❤️💪👍😊 You can watch the fountain dancing every night at 7pm to 7.15 pm and 8pm to 8.15 pm. 🎄"

"This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was still perfect. We want to express our appreciation for one of the staff members at check-in, Yuki. She remembered us—perhaps because of our limited Mandarin skills (haaaa....haaa.....)—and went out of her way to ensure we understood everything we needed to know. Yuki also reminded us to reach out to her or her colleagues if we needed any assistance. Her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable!!"

"The location is in the middle of the wuhua square the business is so good and they welcomed us very good I even forget my passport and I had to call my friend to send me the picture and they said you can send it later take a rest😍 the hotel’s lobby and the room were clean the view was good you can see the beauty of nanchang from the 16th floor❤️"

"There are two Hampton hotels in this area, so make sure you enter the right hotel name in getting local uber. We made a mistake :-) Front desk, Sean, was exceptionally helpful. He helped us to change room that is without cigarette smell, offered to carry online shopping boxes up to our room, and provided a tourist map. We thank his service. It's a new hotel, so the facitlities are in good shape. It's located on the higher floors of a commercial building, so offered good view of the city. Sean tried to offer us room with river view but not available as we checked in late. Breakfast is mainly local flavor, good for us but might not be to western travellers. But I do hope that foreigners try out local dishes. Hey, that's the fun part of traveling."
