Thank you for this amazing week staying in your lovely hotel! All of you did a great job! It is such a personal atmosphere and you all give the hotel guests such a good feeling. For me it was like staying with friends and i appreciate and really loved to listening to music in the guest-room in the evening :) - after a delicious meal. Big compliment for the kitchen. Fabulous family run hotel. Location is excellent. Quiet although not adult only hotel. Food is outstanding both breakfast and dinner. Wide variety of drinks available. All staff extremely pleasant. Rooms are compact but this is a boutique hotel. Fabulous Solariums on 2nd and 4th Floors. Massive TVs but wish we could have had the option to change language or enable subtitles, as like most places in Paguera everything is catered to Germans. Property is spotless. Would love to return.

On arrival in this hotel the first thing we noticed was the extreme cleanliness and the pleasant aroma in reception area. Check in was quick and easy, greeted by friendly staff, offered a lovely cold glass of bubbly 🍾. On arrival to our room we were really impressed which was a standard room, plenty of space unlike some of the comments stating otherwise. The layout of the shower toilet & sink didn't have any issues with us as we have stayed in other hotels in Spain that has a similar layout. Room is beautiful & bright, absolutely spotless, no complaints, room cleaned everyday to a high standard, think the housekeeping lady was called Maria, sorry if I've got your name wrong but thank you, we stayed in room 437 from 20 Oct to 25th. The food and restaurant was outstanding! A big thank you to all the hardworking staff. All staff are very friendly & polite, stunning hotel sums this up and would definitely return. The rooms were ok, we had 2 doubles. Sea view was not worth the extra cost and our girls had an inland room which was much nicer and bigger. Ours was long and thin, had to shuffle around the bed to use the bathroom. Décor was dated, not great storage, only 1 power point that could only be used once we unplugged the telephone, TV didn’t work, bathroom very dated, rooms extremely clean though and cleaners were very polite. Outside was gorgeous, cannot fault the pool area and seating. Very high standard at the evening restaurant and bar. Staff were 50/50 in regards to customer service. The first morning after we had arrived very late the previous night, 2 of the staff working were very rude and abrupt, we were very taken aback. They told us we couldn't put a towel out to reserve 2 sunbeds for our girls even though they were due down to the pool in 5 minutes. The German lady member of staff shouted No, No, No across at us and then berated us, giving us a very stern dressing down, repeating the rules regarding reserving beds over and over. There was no signs indicating this and nothing in the handbook. I understood this was their policy however there are ways of speaking to paying guests and this behaviour was totally unacceptable. When our girls came down 5 minutes later before they even had a chance to lay their towel on the bed, another Brazilian guy working there told them very firmly, they are 15 years old, that they couldn't reserve beds. They were just trying to sit down, this was not necessary and pointless, they were really upset. The other members of staff were lovely however, very welcoming, accommodating and always had time to be polite. A huge shout out to Luciana, what a beautiful, professional lady, an asset to the hotel. Would i stay there again, unfortunately not. The rude staff took alot of the enjoyment out of the hotel. Pretty sour faced throughout our stay. We got the impression they wasn't over keen of English guests and cater just for the German ones.

What can I say that most people haven't said already. Beautiful hotel - reminded me of a Spanish hacienda with all its dark wood and creamy paintwork. We spent 2 wonderful weeks here , just getting up for breakfast and heading straight down to the beach. Breakfast was continental but always had hot options as well. Fruit juices in jugs that you helped yourself too and a few hot drinks machines, The coffee was gorgeous. We stayed half board - evening meals were waiter service - a starter , mains and sweet. These were just lovely. The chef needs a recommendation for presentation and taste. The rooms were big enough for the two of us as we didn't spend a lot of time in them only for sleeping. Mattresses were on the hard side but soon got used to them and really felt brilliant after a nights sleep. Loved this hotel so much that within 2 days of returning home have already booked for next year.

This was a lovely hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful to span-glish speaking Americans! I did my best! The breakfast buffet was awesome! They even helped coordinate a rental car for our day excursion across the island!! My only disappointment was I underestimated the time and distance to/ from Palma. Camp de Mar is a quaint beach town! The bus system is great going to/ from Port d’Andratx.

Terrible Experience at Hotel Playas del Rey majorca– Avoid! My family and I stayed at Hotel Playas del Rey in Santa Ponsa from August 19th to 25th, and it was by far the worst hotel experience we've ever had. This hotel is completely rundown, dirty, and in desperate need of renovation. The room we stayed in was filthy—ceiling leaks, broken furniture, and dirty bathrooms were just the start. Pillows and blankets were in terrible condition, and we even found cockroaches in the room. The dust in the room was so bad that it triggered my daughter's asthma, leaving her unwell for the rest of our stay. Despite complaining to the manager, nothing was done to address these issues. On top of the room conditions, basic services were lacking. Towels for the swimming pool had to be paid for, which is ridiculous. The breakfast was included in our booking, but it was an absolute disaster. We had to walk to another road for breakfast, and once there, the selection was terrible. The place was dirty, with only one overwhelmed lady trying to serve everyone. The food options were practically non-existent. To make matters worse, I requested a late checkout and offered to pay for it. The rooms were empty, but the staff still refused, showing a complete lack of customer care. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. The positive reviews and photos online are completely misleading. It’s shocking how poorly maintained this hotel is, and how little the staff seems to care about their guests' well-being. Avoid at all costs!

The apartments are well appointed in Santa Ponsa just a short walk from the bay and restaurants. I was welcomed by the night manager who was very helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I have no issues with the 'front of house' experience. But, I question the company's ability to rationalise a dispute fairly. I was there for 2 nights only, visiting for a special occasion. When I returned from eating after a long day I was locked out of my room and the night manager couldn't gain access with his pass key. He kindly arranged another room for me but all my belongings were locked in the other room. I was due to be picked up the following morning for a trip into Palma, but missed the opportunity as I had to stay to wait for my belongings. They had to break into the room to access my stuff. The company's view towards my compensation was that they gave me another room so that's all they were prepared to offer, well I should hope they did give me another room I'd paid for it. I can't be bothered to take this any further to be honest, but be mindful if you're staying here and you have medication in your room, for example.
