A wonderful place to stay and visit the abbey but too many odd glitches with the accommodation that a 4 star hotel should have ironed out. Similarly an expensive breakfast was organic/bio/local/chef designed but lacking a decent cup of coffee prepared to order rather than self service from a thermos flask. Any reason why no croissants or speedy replenishment of the buffet dishes?I would not be encouraged to take dinner here as a result . A difficult thing to define but easy to spot by its presence or absence: generosity of welcome….a kettle , milk and tea/coffee materials in the room, maybe a biscuit or two is a welcome, an empty bottle that can be filled at the machine by reception is not! Again, a lovely lounge to settle down with a pre dinner glass of cremant but a few complimentary peanuts would have been appreciated . Sadly I could go on. No, nothing terribly wrong and the staff were helpful, it’s just that design and saving the planet have taken precedence over function and hospitality. Do visit, it is a special place but ‘could do better’

We had a very pleasant overnight stay with the family. We enjoyed the pool, the jacuzzi, and the sauna, and the children were able to play on the grounds with the Mölkky provided on site. Our room was huge, comfortable, and quiet. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Thanks again for this relaxing stay during our bike trip.

In order to live in this hotel, I will not hesitate to change the itinerary. I may expect too much. Actually, I will see more than I imagined, or it may be the reason of winter. The hotel room is the same as the picture, but because it is a real castle, it is rather cold. The three big dogs are very cute. They have been playing with the animal husbandry for a long time. There is a fat dog who can find truffles. After the male host took us to the chapel on the second floor the next morning, they called the dog into the forest to find the truffles. . There are 4 rooms in the castle. I live in the cheapest and the smallest area. On the second floor, there is a twin room next door, slightly larger, with two suites on the first floor. When I checked in, I asked if the hostess could visit everywhere. I didn’t expect to be rejected. I said that I could go shopping outside, but I couldn’t do it indoors. In fact, the salon and the restaurant should be public areas. I don't know why she would say this. Later, I asked Wi-Fi and met the male owner. He took us to the salon. It burned the fire and the music, so we sat here for a while. After all, our room was still cold. By the way, the room does not have Wi-Fi, and the living room is also signaled. The breakfast the next morning was disappointing, only coffee bread. When I left, I paid the money, because I didn’t know if I had to pay the city tax. I took 10 euros more. As a result, the hostess took it away. I didn’t bother to ask... I also donated another money, said to maintain the castle, etc. ...I want to say that I don’t give you 10 Euros at the time, how can I still...
