Hotel in a great location to visit the historical center and the whole city! Confortable the room! nice and available staff starting from the welcome Mrs. Cristina! Abundant breakfast! We recommend it and we will surely return!

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!

This hotel definitely seems more attuned to business guests and does not want to be bothered at all with tourists. Unfortunately, the city had the same vibe. With the exception of the Hop On/Hop Off bus and the super-helpful multi-lingual Francesca, tourists seemed to irritate them. I have traveled extensively in Italy and this hotel and city, IMO, totally lack the warm hospitality and joy that I love about Italy.

The location is close to the train station, but it is also close to the attractions, it is worth it

A big hotel with clean rooms! There are many halls nearby! The hotel waiters are enthusiastic about helping travelers. Most importantly, it is close to the station, and it is especially convenient to travel to and from Milan! I have lived three times and love it every time!
