This is a relatively old hotel. You can tell it was pretty good before, but it's a bit old now. However, the cleaning is very good, the staff are very friendly, and the location is very good, close to Foreigner Street, Night Market, and Arc de Triomphe. It's very cost-effective.

The lady at the hotel front desk who checked in in the morning spoke very good Chinese and there was no barrier to communication. The room is spacious and clean. There is an open-air swimming pool on the roof, and the platform on the side overlooks the entire Vientiane city. However, there is not much food around the hotel, mainly hardware stores. The included breakfast was at a Chinese-owned restaurant next door, and it was a familiar Chinese breakfast. However, before checking in, I found that the hotel price was lower than the price I booked. I contacted Ctrip customer service and was told that the hotel would not be refunded unless it was changed. In the end, Ctrip could not give me the price difference.

I stayed here for 4N. Was very happy with my time here. The hotel is in great condition, my room was nice. There is a gym which has basic cardio equipment and weights (which is enough for me to get a good workout!). Great location in the center of Vientiane. Breakfast was fair - appropriate level of selection for the hotel size. Reccomended!

Excellent hotel, clean, spacious rooms, and fully equipped. The manager provided me with som chai which was very nice indeed. I had a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay. Only snag being a lack to a tennis court at the hotel premises.

I have stayed in the best hotel with the best CP value when I came to Laowo. The hotel is clean, tidy and beautiful, with a swimming pool. It is opposite a convenience store and there is a SKY restaurant on the 9th floor. Overall, it is very good. 👌I give 100 points. 200 meters away from Chinatown.

My partner and I just had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say the whole experience was wonderful. The host The front desk served beyond expectations to make us feel welcome. They were not only friendly but also very attentive. Knowing our needs and showing high standard service. Our room was the highlight of our stay—modern, clean and a... meticulous style with complete facilities,from warm beds to well decorated bathrooms,everything was thoughtfully to make our stay as comfortable as possible.we were also impressed by the small details. which made the room look even more special.overall,we were very impressed with this stay.thanks to all the team for the wonderful hospitality.we look forward to coming back again soon!

Chandara was a wonderful experience for my parents and I. It’s a little bit older but has charming architecture and lovely common areas. The pool is wonderful and the staff was as smiling and willing to help us with anything we needed. Not too far from the riverside and with bicycles available for rent, I highly recommend staying here.

It’s quite an acceptable hotel. About 20 minute drive from the international airport. Pros: - Price is reasonable - 10 minutes walk to the embassy (great for visa runs) - I had to photocopy some documents and they did it for me at the lobby for free - Convenient stores and restaurants were accessible - Staff were good. They werent rude and when I tried to pay for an extra half day they tried their best to stay patient with me even though I was struggling to communicate with them due to currency exchange rates & language barriers - The rooms were decent. It seemed old but still good - Breakfast buffet was good. Had a selection of asian foods, Korean side dishes, tea, coffee, cereal, etc. Cons: - Housekeeping just comes in the room without even knocking.. which is invasion of privacy (and was really annoying). We tried to tell them to come back some other time but they didn’t get it. Neither was there any signage to put in our front door to tell housekeeping that we want to makeup our room or “do not disturb.” - Toilet wasn’t entirely dry when I first checked in. It was wet like someone just finished cleaning - Upon entering the room it was pretty clear they just didn’t bother to clean everything. You could see some dirt in the minibar and some webs on top walls. I do have some suggestion to improve the service. At least put the list of mini bar prices. I didn’t know until check-out. I didn’t even know what number to call the room service until I randomly dialed “0” and magically went to the reception. Btw room service number is 202 and either no one picks up or when they do, they don’t understand english. Not recommended for leisure. Just a decent hotel for visa runs.
