My wife and I just spent 2 delightful weeks at Le Domaine Anse Marcel Beach resort. Our room, with a beautiful view on the sea from the large lanai, had been completely renovated and was gorgeous. The mattress was firm, supportive, and very comfortable. The kitchenette was well designed, and the bathroom was top-notch. The hospitality staff (Clemence, Salome, and Stephane) were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, always cheerful, and really cared that our every need was met. It was so clear that their main objective was to make sure every guest enjoyed their stay to the fullest. Anse Marcel is an extremely relaxing, peaceful location. The beach is a large cove surrounded by mountains on three sides. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole Caribbean. The water is calm and clear. The white sand is very fine and soft. On the beach, the resort's ”beach boys” provide guests with chaise lounges with thick, comfortable cushions, umbrellas, and towels. They will also serve you food/drinks from the restaurant or make reservations for you. The restaurant is outstanding. Similar to the hotel hospitality staff, the restaurant waitresses and waitresses are friendly, efficient, and caring. A short walk down the beach, you can rent jet skis, small boats, etc. After a short walk to the harbor, you'll find several fine restaurants, shops, and a convenience store. If you take a 10 minute drive to Grand Case, you'll find the absolutely best restaurants in the Caribbean. The area has been rightfully called the Gastronomic Capital of the Caribbean. The French side of St Martin is quiet, laid back, has beaches which are beautiful, and has outstanding cuisine. The Anse Marcel Beach resort is the perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful vacation where you'll feel welcomed and pampered.
