"Traveling with my buddies, I randomly booked this Fruit Hotel, and it definitely deserves a full five stars! The value for money is truly unbeatable; for its class, the price is incredibly reasonable with no hidden fees whatsoever. The front desk staff were efficient and professional, making check-in and check-out a breeze, and they were very polite. The room was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, and the bed was soft and spacious—plenty of room for both of us to relax and chat comfortably. The soundproofing exceeded expectations; with the door closed, outside noise was barely audible. The WiFi was also stable, so our late-night gaming sessions were lag-free. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the toiletries were fully stocked, making it super convenient for a hassle-free stay. Overall, it was a really comfortable experience, perfect for a trip with friends. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town."

The owner was incredibly welcoming; they not only prepared a guide but also recommended a seafood market frequented by locals, helping us avoid tourist traps. There is free wifi and water available as well as a cooking area and a fridge. Slippers for the shower are also available. Tooth brush and tooth paste are also available as well as shampoo and conditioner. Feels like home considering the staff is available 24h on WeChat for anything you might need, including advice in transportation, food and deliveries."

"While the hotel's decor and facilities are quite old, the sea view from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the 66th-floor lobby is still breathtaking when checking in. The young man who checked us in was also very enthusiastic, proactively introducing the hotel and room amenities. The transportation is quite convenient, being very close to Donggang Metro Station, and you can feed seagulls right outside the hotel by the sea. It's also very close and convenient to popular attractions like Donggang Music Fountain, Venice Water City, and Donggang Fifth Street. You don't have to fight the crowds at tourist spots, and you can see large ships from the beach right outside the hotel in the morning. Sitting in a seaside cafe and enjoying the sea view is also very pleasant. The two-bedroom suite is very suitable for families with children, as it's spacious and has a kitchen and refrigerator, allowing you to prepare some food. Housekeeping was also timely; the room was always clean and tidy when we returned each day. Now, after the positives, let me share the annoyances we experienced during our stay: 1. On the first day, housekeeping threw away one of my contact lenses. Luckily, I had a spare pair, otherwise, I would have been "blind" for three days in Dalian. When guest relations called to inquire about our stay, they said it was because I didn't put it in a contact lens case but rather in its original disposable packaging. However, that's not a valid reason for you to throw away a guest's belongings. 2. The two bathrooms share a single storage-type water heater. Although we were informed of this upon check-in, it's really not a good experience for a group of four, after a day of sightseeing, to have to wait in line for the water to heat up to take a shower. Also, the shower water temperature in the master bedroom fluctuated wildly between scalding hot and icy cold, making my child cry! Later, they explained that other water sources shouldn't be used simultaneously when someone is showering, which was not mentioned to us during check-in. This makes it very inconvenient, meaning even if you have two showers, you can't use them at the same time. 3. For the first two days, we didn't need to swipe our room cards to go upstairs, but suddenly on the third day, we were told that the elevator required a room card, and our room cards actually didn't work! We had to go back to the 66th-floor lobby to get new cards. We were told this was because there were too many people in the previous two days, so they canceled the card swipe for the elevator? This seems like a safety concern. After checking out, an employee from guest relations called to ask about our stay, which shows you do care about the guest experience. However, after I explained the three points above, no feedback or compensation was offered. So, was the young lady just calling to listen to my complaints? Haha."

Everything from the environment to the facilities and service was outstanding, absolutely top-notch, undoubtedly the best in Dalian. A special shout-out to Kayla, who checked me in. She's a very warm and friendly young lady and gave me a fantastic first impression of the hotel. The iced water in the lobby on the 41st floor was infused with cucumber, lemon, grapefruit, and other fruit slices. It's been incredibly hot in Dalian recently, so having a refreshing glass after coming back from outside was a great way to cool down. Next time I visit Dalian, I won't hesitate to book any other hotel; it'll definitely be the Four Seasons."

"The autumn weather in Dalian is simply delightful, especially when staying at the Shangri-La Hotel. Starting each day with a leisurely stroll and some quiet contemplation along Binhai Road feels like a life lived by the gods. A major perk of staying on the executive floor at the Shangri-La is that your breakfast and dinner are taken care of, and they're always well-prepared. The executive lounge staff, in particular, are incredibly attentive, fulfilling all your needs for drinks and food. Every member of the lounge service team is outstanding! 👍🏻 I stayed for three nights this time and was deeply impressed. For example, Peng Xinyao prepares tea with such meticulous care. Han Yuhang and Zhou Sitong are incredibly quick and efficient with their service. As for Wang Dantong, meeting her felt like catching up with a familiar friend. We got to know each other during my previous three-night stay in July, and the room she arranged this time was equally stunning. It's also worth mentioning the cleaning lady, Xu Guirong. Not only does she clean every corner flawlessly, but she also ensures I have plenty of drinking water every day, so I never run out for my tea. What truly touched me was when she was changing the bed linens; she noticed the room was a bit damp and went out of her way to dry my amenities, making my night's sleep even more comfortable. I was genuinely surprised by her dedication and willingness to go the extra mile in her job – in thirty years of staying in hotels, I've rarely encountered such service. That's why I've booked another three nights at the Dalian Shangri-La in mid-September. It truly feels like a 'home' where you can relax and feel completely at ease."

Whether you're sightseeing or dining, you won't need to go out of your way, saving a ton of travel time. Compared to other hotels in the same area, this one is really affordable, offering incredible value for money.
