"This location is heaven on earth. Surrounded by mountains that take on the form of Buddha. You sit right in the palm of a blessed spot. It is family owned and they treat you like family while you are there. By far some of the kindest people you will meet on your trip. Food is fantastic and homemade. There is a rooftop spot you can relax at, have tea, and even enjoy your meal there. The Shaolin temple is just a short walk from the hotel, and the owners will offer to drive you every time. Make sure to stay here if you are in the area. You will not regret it."

Rooms facing the martial arts school are too noisy; a continuous, annoying alarm-like bell goes off for several minutes starting at 5:40 AM, and then every hour throughout the day. It's much more bothersome and longer lasting than a school bell. However, I eventually got used to it."
