"Excellent service best room in the house! Really enjoyed the bath and bed so comfortable. Had dinner in the restaurant was truly amazing and breakfast in the morning. Thank you for having us to stay."

Travelodge Dorking ★★★

"Travelled down to Dorking for a friends birthday. The room seemed clean, the bed comfy and the girl at reception was friendly. Unfortunately, having got in at 2am, we were woken at 06:15 by the unsupervised children (approx. age 12??) in the three rooms next to us. After listening to them screaming, shouting and banging doors - and banging lord knows what against the wall, I threw on a coat and went and asked them very politely to please be quiet. To be fair, they did shut up, but by then we were so irate that we couldn’t get back to sleep so just packed and came home. While the actual noise was not Travelodge's fault, putting large groups of unsupervised children in rooms next to their paying customers is a recipe for disaster. Either don't let them stay, or put them all together somewhere away from other customers."

Sunday Box Hill Burford Bridge Hotel ★★★★

"The location is beautiful you forget how close you are to London, having box hill right at your back door is amazing the views are so stunning that I got up at 4am to watch the sunrise! Sadly I had a horrible experience the last night and got no sleep due to children or immature adults making noise until about 3:30 and I couldn’t find any staff, tried contacting online but to no luck, and am annoyed that there was no resolution or response… Other than that though the staff were very kind and the rooms were perfectly clean enough depending on your standards, there was only one stain on the carpet which was dry and had no odour so I didn’t mind at all, the only picture I have is the mess I made on the bed aha but as you can see it is spacious and clean It had everything I needed, especially a large safe, a fridge, cupboard, wardrobe with lots of space to hang up and fold clothing with an iron board. A hairdryer, kettle mugs and glasses, plenty of teas and biscuits, only thing missing I guess was a Microwave. It also had a large tv but I did not use It had a great bathroom with plenty of soap and body lotion, a heatable towel holder, fast heating shower/bath, with a mini shower head connected to the tap which was super helpful for cleaning my feet after a long day of walking in the heat! It even had a shower net but I brought my own so didn’t use. TLDR: For the price it was more than enough and I would give it 10/10 if it wasn’t for the unfortunate experience but I can’t complain that much when i got to spend a small amount of time away from the city in such a beautiful place"

Wotton House ★★★★

"I recently visited and just wanted to share how much I enjoyed my time. The highlights for me were definitely the swimming pool and sauna—both were incredibly relaxing and well-maintained. Thanks for a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!"

Russ Hill Hotel ★★★

"The beds were absolutely terrible, never had a worse night sleep as we did there, so uncomfortable. The pillows were so hard and lumpy we hardly got any sleep at all. The plans flying over were noisy. There was dirty washing in the hallway when we arrived at 7 pm and was still there the next day at 8 am. They advised breakfast but then we were told there wasn’t any. Over all staff were polite it was quite clean but we would never stay again"

The Running Horses ★★★
