Milaidhoo is the perfect place to spend a Maldivian holiday when you're looking for a great house reef, excellent quality of food, a genuinely friendly and highly professional team, and splendid isolation. These were the things we loved: The amount of shade provided on the sun deck of the Water Villa. It's hard to avoid a sunburn in this part of the world, even with SPF 50, so we love our fair amount of shade. At Milaidhoo, you'll always find a perfect spot on your terrace that keeps you out of the sun while providing splendid views on the serene turqouise sea. The house reef. It is easy to reach and is vibrant - you can see turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks, large schools of fish, colorful corals, and much more. We went out nearly every day, and we loved it. The food. It is of great quality, no matter which restaurant you pick. A great choice of dishes, perfectly seasoned, always hot - and always served with a smile. Regarding breakfast, we liked that you have the opportunity to pick from a menu or help yourself from an extensive buffet, which is - again - of excellent quality. They also have a large selection of vegan/vegetarian offerings. The service. As mentioned by many other guests before - the friendliness and responsiveness at Milaidhoo is way above average. We especially enjoyed having Anth as our villa host. She was very attentive, responded very quickly to every request, remembered all the things we liked (including coconut cookies with dark chocolate at night!), while never being intrusive. We appreciated her service a lot. I also enjoyed the private yoga lessons - Kruthi is a very passionate, well educated teacher with a holistic view on body and mind. What you should know: Milaidhoo is a small island. You can walk around on the beach in 10 minutes. So if you want to do long walks on sandy beaches, you might be disappointed. You will also come across a few wave breakers - they are necessary to preserve the sandy beaches. There's no tennis court, no golf course, no fun park, karaoke, etc. We went there because we love such a setting. Summing it up: we had 10 fantastic days at Milaidhoo and do highly recommend this island to couples looking for tranquility, and also to single travelers because you will never feel lonely on this island, the team will take great care of you.

The water on the island is very delicate and clear, because the weather in the rainy season is not good enough, but it is charming enough! The waiters are very enthusiastic, and they will say hello when they meet, but the butler is generally ineffective. The privacy of the room is also very good, the breakfast is very rich, it is recommended to have Thai food for dinner, the price is cheaper and exquisite than the buffet. Snorkeling is very convenient. After experiencing the sand house and water house, you can go directly to the sea in the backyard of the sand house. It is recommended to live in the sand house if you like to play in the water. The water house is very comfortable and there are many fishes underneath. Children love it!

Absolute relaxation, unique location, beautiful nature (be prepared for mosquitoes) , wonderful and friendly staff and fantastic cuisine. That's what you can expect from your holiday in Dreamland. The rooms are comfy and spacious in both beach bungalows and water villas. The beach is just perfect and the snorcheling in the ocean is great fun. Loving every day of my stay here!

We chose this hotel, the price/performance ratio is really good. After the trip, some people arranged for pick-up and drop-off, arranged for the inland plane and speedboat to arrive at the resort. After arriving at the fake village, the service staff sent a welcome to each person. We originally booked 5 I lived in a luxury villa in the evening. Fortunately, I can live in the water villa on the 4th night. The two villas have their own characteristics. The luxury villas can see the sunset, the water villas can see the sunrise, and everything is well arranged. The beach has white sand and the water is very blue. We cleaned the room twice a day. We booked a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was also served in the same main restaurant. The waiter was very polite. Every night there are different dishes and facilities. Enough, in addition to drinking water, only one bottle is supplied per room per day. The water in the hose is only filtered once and the salt is not completely filtered. Therefore, it is not suitable for drinking. To drink extra water, you should buy it at the restaurant or bar.

After reading plenty of 5 star reviews on Tripadvisor and Google, we booked at Kiha Beach with half-board accommodation. The whole structure is very clean, the room was very nice, the bed really comfortable, the staff very friendly. Still considering that we are not on a resort Island, we rate the structure itself, the rooms and the cleanliness with 4 Stars. In contrast, in our opinion the food deserves max. of 2 stars. While the small breakfast buffet was “ok”, the dinner menu was quite boring. Actually, we were expecting to enjoy every evening a small buffet as we read on all reviews, But in fact, out of the 7 days we spent at Kiha Beach, the buffet was offered only one evening. As for the other days, latest 1 or 2 hours before dinner we were asked to choose dishes out of a menu with one starter, select among two main dishes and 2 desserts. The reason why was probably the low occupancy. Additionally, the staff wanted us to set a fix time for dinner. The food quality was ok, the selection of dishes, however, we found really boring… Ceasar’s salad (all Europeans will probably find the grated parmesan cheese served with it to be terrible) or a soup as a starter. Chicken, beef or tuna fish as main course (the sauces where always quite similar) with a selection of vegetables as side dish that was the same, evening after evening: roasted carrots, potatoes. Ice cream or fruit or chocolate cake or mango custard pudding as a dessert. The mango custard pudding was delicious! For half board customers sprite and cola are included (no need to mention water 😉).  All in all, we rate the price-performance ratio at Kiha Beach not really good.  We were really impressed about the fairness: for health reasons we asked if they would refund us some money if we leave earlier. The management told us, they would refund all the nights we didn’t spend there. It took 3 weeks and several inquiries “where is the money” before we got the reimbursement, but finally the promised amount was credited on our credit card account.  From of the overall friendly staff, we will keep Salim in our heart. A really cool guy, with a fantastic hospitality and helpfulness.  A final comment that has nothing to do with Kiha Beach particularly, but rather with Dharavandhoo itself. We found the island being full of mosquitos (also Asian tiger mosquitos), flies and sandflies. Impossible to enjoy breakfast as buffet and tables were full of flies. Impossible to stay outside or relax on the beach during daylight without repellent, because of the mosquitos and sandflies. For what we could experience, Dharavandhoo does not really have a real/effective mosquito prevention strategy. Especially the area closer to the small forest on the west side is rich of such nasty insects. Therefore, our dream of spending few days with snorkeling and relaxing on the beach vanished short after arrival. During our stay we also learned about 2 persons that contracted a dengue infection during the previous months. O
