Great hotel to stay in with nice amenities and service. Restaurant is good. Location is nice for lake view but not the nearest one to metro station

Love it for its location and its proximity to the west lake. Such I pity I couldn’t get a lake view room.
Hotel feels abit old, has no direct access the west lake, notwithstanding that it is just in front of it. I got to make a detour to get to it.
Buffet dinner has a decent spread given that hotel guests only pays RM155.
The tea leaves in the hotel cost a bomb too. As I do not read Chinese characters well, I didn’t know that they charge the tea leaves and used them, and ended up paying around RMB 200 for a packet of tea leaves (2 servings). I would suggest that they write the costs in English too.

It's a nice Hotel, little old but convenient. The breakfast need to have more cheese options.

Got asked to review twice got made 2 separate bookings for 3 rooms for family (different room types cannot be made in 1 booking - given my feedback to trip.com team).

This was probably my fourth or fifth time staying at Lakeside Hotel this summer. I really like the room/layout, the service, and the location. The food was also very good. The cleaning lady Lin M. was very friendly, did a thorough job, and made sure my needs were met. Thank you Lin! I would definitely stay here again in the future and would recommend the hotel to my friends coming to visit Fuzhou.

The hotel is great, just by the West lake side.
The room is very clean and comfortable.
The service is friendly.
Nice swimming pool.
Definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great and there are plenty of facilities available if needed. The best bit however was the location, the hotel is right next to the lake so as soon as you walk out you see it and can stroll around it. Plus it's only a 10 minute walk from the main tourist areas!
Only small negative was that I couldn't use the room service app because it didn't recognise my foreign name when I tried to log in.
