"I wouldn't say it's bad, just very mediocre. It pretty much relies on its lakeside location as its main advantage, and the outdoor pool is a bonus. Everything else is pretty unremarkable. We booked a connecting room and a king room. Both connecting rooms were directly opposite the elevator. We tried to ask for a different location, but the hotel said that this room type is always in that spot on every floor. Luckily, since we checked in at the tail end of the holiday, there weren't many guests, so we weren't disturbed at night. However, this layout is a bit puzzling – paying a high price for a room with a poor location... The environment is decent, but the experience was just okay..."

It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, far from the madding crowd. Sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and feeling the breeze, time just slows down. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable. I'll definitely be back next time. A well-deserved five-star rating!"

"I stayed for two nights, and I must say it was really clean. The cleaning lady did a fantastic and meticulous job. The buffet for supper was also quite rich. However, this room key was truly a nightmare. When I went back in the afternoon, I asked for a ticket [presumably for re-entry], but they didn't swipe my room key or give any instructions. Yet, I could swipe my card inside the elevator. I thought it must have been swiped already. When I got back to my room, I found I couldn't open the door. So, I took the elevator down to the front desk. After getting in, I realized I couldn't swipe the card. There was no one else in the elevator, and no matter how I pressed the buttons or swiped the card, nothing happened. I was stuck for about two to three minutes. I have no idea how this card system works, why I could use it to go up but then got trapped in the elevator when trying to go down."

"The hotel is super close to the metro station, which is a huge plus. The private hot spring, however, is located off-site. Thankfully, the hotel provides a shuttle service, and a big shoutout to the friendly Xiao Zhang who drove us back and forth multiple times. The only minor hiccup was finding an old eyelash in the private hot spring tub from a previous guest, but luckily, they provide disposable bath liners."

The maid service did change them on the second day so I had a better nights rest. That gave me a good impression"

"The main advantage of this hotel is the shuttle service to and from the airport. It's free. The only thing you'll need to coordinate your pickup and drop-off is WeChat. I think it would be difficult without it. Calling the number listed in the contacts in advance didn't work, even from a Chinese phone. Upon arrival, the information desk helped us get in touch, and then everything was simple. The hotel itself looks more like a residential building, but in that location, that's what hotels are all about. About the room: very clean, stylish, and spacious. It's unlikely anyone would think of staying there for tourism purposes, primarily because it's time between flights. The surrounding area is, frankly, terrible. However, you'll find a few shops and places to eat on the next street, two hundred meters from the hotel. The driver didn't speak English, but he also checked us in at the reception. This car pick up us."

"We highly recommend this hotel. They provide a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. The distance is only about 10 minutes from the airport. Since we were transiting in Fuzhou, we intentionally chose a hotel that was close to the airport. The hotel is clean and modern, and one of the main highlights is their receptionists, they are truly friendly and caring. The hotel is also not far from the market; it only took me about 7 minutes to get there. Within a 15-minute walk, I was even able to find a halal restaurant. I highly recommend Lanou Hotel. If I ever have the chance to visit Fuzhou again, I would definitely stay here again."

"Very comfortable, the room was packed with thoughtful details, such as the hairdryer on the vanity, a recessed space for toiletries, a night light, and a niche in the shower. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, the shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature and flow were very comfortable. The bedding was also very cozy. It would have been even better with a bathtub. There's a direct door leading to the West Lake wooden walkway. The location is superb, very convenient for getting around, everything is close by. Overall, it's really good value for money. If it weren't for personal reasons that meant we could only stay one day, I would definitely have stayed a few more. This is a genuinely heartfelt positive review. The customer service was spot on, and the staff were very friendly. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance, even though the surroundings aren't super lively, it was still a fantastic stay."
