The guest room was immaculately clean with no missed spots, the air was fresh, and the custom memory foam pillow perfectly conformed to the head and neck curve, making it ideal for recuperating after a long journey. Overall, it was impeccable."

"The hotel's location is excellent and the staff are warm and professional. I was very satisfied throughout my stay. Amity arranged rooms on the same floor with fruit and amenities, Yoyo quickly handled check-in, and Jade processed my check-out and bill quickly. It was a good stay. After checking out, I realized I'd left my tablet in the room. When I went back to the front desk, they handled it very quickly. I also happened to run into the cleaning lady in my room who was very helpful in looking for my tablet. I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou!"

"It's tough for a five-star hotel to really impress, because when the price is high, so are the expectations. Even if they do a great job, it often feels like 'that's just how it should be.' Nowadays, budget chain hotels offering five-star service, especially new ones, are unbeatable – they're affordable and exceed expectations. One downside of five-star hotels is the lack of self-service laundry. Sure, they provide laundry bags in the room, but it's not as convenient in terms of time and cost as a self-service option. Every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, was smiling and polite! A special shout-out to Pike Lin Xin from housekeeping for their conscientiousness and responsibility. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"I wouldn't say it's bad, just very mediocre. It pretty much relies on its lakeside location as its main advantage, and the outdoor pool is a bonus. Everything else is pretty unremarkable. We booked a connecting room and a king room. Both connecting rooms were directly opposite the elevator. We tried to ask for a different location, but the hotel said that this room type is always in that spot on every floor. Luckily, since we checked in at the tail end of the holiday, there weren't many guests, so we weren't disturbed at night. However, this layout is a bit puzzling – paying a high price for a room with a poor location... The environment is decent, but the experience was just okay..."

And the curtains don't block out the light at all, which is a major flaw."

I particularly liked that there was hand soap at the sink. Breakfast offered a good variety. "The front desk lady provided excellent service. Since we checked in late, she kindly offered us two days of complimentary breakfast. Upon checkout, she even gave us a small gift. The only minor issues were a noisy air conditioner and a leaky sink. However, the location is absolutely fantastic; it's right by the subway, which is incredibly convenient. Plus, it's just a short walk to Sanfang Qixiang, and the view outside the hotel is truly beautiful."

"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"
