"The hotel customer service was excellent. They called us the day we arrived to ask what time we would be there and even turned on the humidifier so we could get a comfortable night's sleep. Because we were leaving very early the next day, they made sure to open the restaurant early so we could have a good meal, and they even gave us goji berries as a parting gift. I would definitely choose the Golmud Yellow River International Hotel again next time I travel the Qinghai loop."

"Perfect place for a quick stay. It is near lots of bakeries, local restaurants, and food carts. The train station is only a 10 - 15 minutes drive away and easy to get a Didi. Reception staff are lovely and the room was spotless, cosy, and spacious. Super good value for money ☺️"

"The environment and bed were pretty average, not as good as other Meihau hotels. If you're looking to wake up early, this is the hotel for you. They'll call you bright and early to ask if you're checking out, which I guess is their wake-up service. Then they'll call a few more times to ask if you're extending your stay. Such thoughtful service! I'll never dare to stay here again."

"My trip to Golmud was a fantastic one, and the stay at the eLong Hotel was absolutely amazing! The hotel's location is superb, right in the city center, facing Kunlun Park with stunning views. It's also incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and transportation. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making check-in efficient and quick. They answered all my questions and even provided helpful local travel tips. The room was a delightful surprise – brand new and fully equipped. The modern and elegant decor, clean and inviting atmosphere, and soft bedding, along with excellent soundproofing (even with the dry conditions in Golmud, there was a humidifier!), showed attention to detail. 24-hour hot water, a mini-fridge, and a sterilizer were all provided, making my stay very reassuring. Both the facilities and service were impeccable; highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Golmud!"

"I had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well-designed, spotlessly clean, and completely odor-free. The bed was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water, with all the essential amenities provided. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. The location is super convenient for transportation, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. It’s definitely an excellent choice for a trip. The hygiene was top-notch; there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and the room was well-ventilated with a comfortable temperature. The soundproofing was fantastic, making for a truly quiet night's rest. The facilities were excellent, with soft, pleasant lighting. The staff were responsive and friendly. This hotel offers much better value for money than others in its price range, and I would genuinely recommend it and definitely return."

"The room was clean and bright, spacious and well-ventilated, making it very comfortable. The staff member, Xiao Yue, was very attentive and helpful, making my stay very reassuring. I left my watch in the room, and the staff member honestly returned it to me and left it at the front desk. I'm very grateful. It's very close to the train station; it's within walking distance."

"The hotel is newly renovated, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are warm and friendly. The breakfast is rich and delicious, which was a lifesaver for me as a southerner who isn't used to Northwestern cuisine. Plus, the hotel has a washing machine and dryer, which is incredibly convenient when traveling with kids. Parking is free, and you can even charge your car. Highly recommended!"

"The overall environment of the hotel is warm and comfortable, the rooms are cleaned very carefully, all corners are cleaned, the front desk check-in is fast and worry-free, the surrounding food, drink and fun are very close, and the stay experience is particularly satisfactory. The room ventilation effect is very good, the bedding is soft and sleeps well, the infrastructure is intact, the staff service is gentle and polite, the price is real, and the accommodation is the first choice. The location is easy to find and the transportation is convenient. The corridor is clean and there is no smell. The equipment in the house is fully equipped. The sound insulation effect is good. It is very quiet at night. The price/performance ratio has not been said. It has been recommended to friends around me. Communication in advance about the check-in is very smooth, the room is spacious and not depressing, the hygiene is meticulous and in place, the store is really intimate, and I will still choose to stay next time I visit. Parking and dining around are convenient, the house is clean and dry, the facilities are maintained in place and there is no damage, the overall living feeling is comfortable, no matter the short trip on business trip is very suitable."

The room was clean, elegant, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The sunset over the desert in the evening was magnificent and captivating, and at night, the vast sky was filled with countless stars – every photo captured the magical ambiance. The butler service was attentive and responsive. This is the top choice for an immersive experience of the unique charm of the Gobi wilderness. Highly recommend it!"

The hotel breakfast was okay, but the restaurant is rather small and doesn't have enough seating when there are many people. The hotel parking lot is a good size and has charging stations. We ate hot pot across the street in the evening, which was delicious."

The facilities in the room are very advanced, including smart toilets, smart curtains, etc., which made me feel the convenience brought by technology. The staff's service is also very considerate, taking care of every guest's needs in every possible way. All in all, this is an excellent hotel in all aspects and is worth recommending!"

Mercure Golmud Sports Hotel
"I booked a Mercure Hotel during the Northwest Loop, but I was disappointed. First, the bathroom facilities. Golmud is at a high altitude, and I stayed at the Mercure hoping for good amenities. However, the showerhead wasn't properly controlled, running hot for five seconds and cold for five. After showering under these conditions, I had a complete cold and altitude sickness the next day. Secondly, there were black spots in the toilet that wouldn't go away, something I've never encountered in so many hotels. There were also hair and water stains on the floor from the previous guest. The overall environment and service were okay, but compared to Mercure hotels in other cities, I still feel there's a lot of room for improvement."
Lonely space desert glamping hotel
"The hotel is quite large overall, and the public facilities, such as climbing nets, slides, swimming pools, and trampolines, are all perfect for kids to play on. It's an excellent place for families with young children. They also have a spectacular fireworks display. The breakfast buffet is very rich, with not only the usual food and drinks but also desserts, yogurt, butter, and jam. The nighttime lighting is also incredibly beautiful, though it's a shame we didn't get to see any stars."
