Stayed in a Standard Double Room. Requested two single beds which was not provided.
Rooms seem a little worn down and very small. Phone did not work. Lamp had one light bulb missing.
Breakfast buffet had a large variety but not very high quality.

It was not bad but it was a better hotel before it became part of Elite hotels. Having said that, their Bishops Arms is very nice

This property was beautiful as it was in an old building from the 1800s. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay here again.

A really good hotel and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were large, comfortable though a little dated. Lack of sunlight was a bit disappointing but understandable from the old windows they have in place. Gym was alright - wouldn’t describe it as a “spa” in any shape, and they seriously need a chilled water fountain in it. The pub was fabulous.

Have stayed at this hotel tens of times. Before this visit it has been very well run. Something has changed. Stayed only one night. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. It was uncomfortable to reach to the shower every time. Moreover, there were previous guest's finger nail clippings on the floor. When asked for a hand soap bar the front desk told me to pick it up from them when I come back from dinner. At these rates it is not guests' role to fix service failures.

The property was wonderful. The only issue is that when we arrived with copious luggage there was no one to assist. Otherwise the place was great

Overall the hotel was nice, the location was great (10min walking from the central station), you can explore Gothenburg from the hotel very well. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.
What I didn’t like, and that’s why I wouldn’t recommend the hotel is the room. The room is extremely warm (no AC or similar) and we had a window to the courtyard where no fresh air came to our room because the courtyard is the restaurant. So it wasn’t nice at all to sleep there.
Also, they could put the allergens on the food for the breakfast. Costs like 5min to do it but is very convenient for people with allergies.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elite Plaza Hotel. The building and interior are very nice. The staff is outstanding and were very helpful. My room was a bit small but more then adequate for one. Couples traveling with a lot of luggage should consider one of the bigger rooms. It’s also easy to access from main train station. Would stay there again without hesitation.
