Great location but the hotel is too dark, and lacks any atmosphere. There is no information pack or anything in the room that explains about the hotel and what is available and I thought this was very poor for a so called 5 star hotel and I have never experienced this before. The de luxe double room, although a decent size is a terrible design - you go to the seperate toilet (next to a great shower room)and then you have to go to the sink, which is in the middle of the room by the wardrobes. How unhygienic is this!! Despite paying over £3000 for a 7 day holiday, this hotel charges you for the large four poster style beds by the pool if you use them and if you use the roof top beds and infinity pools, that will also cost you 50 euros per day. They had an A la Cart menu in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner but this was very poor. 4 times in seven days they had no Advocardo’s. Twice I asked the chef at the buffet counter what the fish was and he did not know. Signage at the buffet counters is very poor - these were often mixed up or not there at all. If you have a severe nut allergy this hotel is not for you. They have a dress code in the restaurant in the evenings, but this is not in force, as there were many occasions where men were allowed in wearing shorts….so no dress code at all! They have a decent sized gym, but it’s right next to the smoking area. Smoking is not permitted in the bedroom and balconies we were told yet nearly every evening we could smell cigarette smoke if we left our balcony door open. Complained but no action was taken. As far as I can tell by reading all the reviews for this hotel, some of the complaints that I have made have been made by other people, so the company is clearly not acting on these. This is why I have only given them 2 stars, which is very poor for such a great location. Change of management needed clearly!

You can imagine how lively it will be during the peak season. And this street is so long that you can walk 40 ➕ minutes while walking, eating and drinking all the way. The roadside is a five-star hotel. You can see the swimming pool and restaurant of other hotels. You are ready to change to a hotel next time. This was our second visit to this hotel and my parents eighth visit. I will start with the good points. The hotel is immaculate especially the pool and grounds. Everywhere is well maintained and easy on the eye. The food is exceptional. The best buffet we have been to by a mile. Heaps of choice, allergy labelled and a lady comes round regularly changing serving spoons. Special mention to Roberto who is an exceptional waiter - perfectly balancing professional and personal service. Drinks service is very good and again special mention to Martin who had everyone laughing. I did notice great camaraderie between all the pool staff and they always looked happy which was good to see. Our room was kept immaculately clean and clean towels twice a day was a bonus. However our stay this time was marred by an extremely surly check in experience with Kimberley. Whilst we overhead (and remembered) other exceptional reception staff like Elena and Emilo Jose greeting customers and interacting very pleasantly we had a very different experience. Firstly Kimberley informed us that all the a la carte restaurants were fully booked for our stay so if we had planned on booking any we could not. Luckily we didn’t want to anyway but it wasn’t the best welcome. Then we were given our room keys and told ‘if you don’t like the rooms there is nowhere you can move to’. Ok well we hadn’t even seen the room at that point, so naturally we were on alert. We went to see the rooms in question. Having paid a premium for a superior garden room we weren’t impressed to have a view of the back of the supermarket. We returned to reception and had a very frosty reception. Eventually we were moved but only after being spoken to very rudely. It is very rare I would mention a member of staff in a review in a negative light, preferring to instead highlight great staff but the attitude of Kimberley seriously upset both myself and my husband but more sadly my parents who were celebrating an 80th birthday and are regular guests. For us sadly this has meant we are only to give 4 stars and not 5 on this occasion, and this team member significantly let down the hotel and all the other amazing staff members.

Very suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Beyond the fact that it was disgusting, it is simply dangerous, a pigeon sitting on a surface of bread is diseases. Another thing, there is a nice bar by the pool but there is only one bartender/waiter so the waiting time to get a drink is around 25 minutes and the service is not very welcoming either. There are two large and beautiful pools but the water is really cold (it's a shame they don't heat it) and it will be really difficult for smokers. There are no smoking areas at all in the entire hotel except for standing in the strong sun next to a bin in the corner of the pool and restaurant area, unable to sit down and unable to put down a drink.
