I guess their budget room was really on a budget but on holiday dates. But I learned the hard way to travel only during non-Chinese holiday since the hotels in Guangzhou were expensive during these holidays seasons. And the original price is way cheaper during non Chinese holidays. Air conditioner was noisy, lived on the 7th floor but could hear outside noise even during night time. And could also hear people slamming doors in the hallway.

The hotel location is not bad, close to the Canton Tower, many museums and theatres. There are many small shops and food places around but the surrounding is noting fancy. Definitely it's not the place where would you come with a boyfriend or girlfriend. There is a beautiful park and lake close to the metro station. I booked a budget room and I got what I paid for - simple room with basic amenities, little bit old but still not looking bad.

International traveler here. Very clean, cool looking and spacious room. I even got upgraded for free but the upgrade didn't matter much the room was pretty much the same as I booked.
Location is okay you will feel like you are in old china near the textile industry places etc. Very local but nice. Subway is not that far too (7min) I would say.

Good location for canton fair. Easy to get around. The room is decent but the carpet is smelly. Overall okay, but not super clean

A great stay at a cool friendly and accommodating hotel.
Plus point is just about 10 minutes walk away from the nearest subway.
