Jiangjing Hotel, Guilin Ancient Town (Daxu Ancient Town Store, Lijiang River Scenic Spot)

Such a beautiful experience! The staff were so friendly and helpful from the beginning to end. I immediately connected with Ke to help build the itinerary and booked a wonderful trip to Yangshuo. The only downside is that it’s a bit far out from Guilin center (30 minutes). I spent the whole day on the river tour and when I returned luckily they had barbecue on the roof. The room was large and spacious with one of biggest bathrooms I’ve seen. My only regret is not spending MORE time at the hotel on the beautiful balcony of the room :)

If you are looking for confusion and stress this hotel is not for you . We were enveloped at our entrance by fusion music and environments of ancient rural China. The possibility to enjoy a terrace overlooking the Li River, next to the village of real fishermen. The jagged mountains of the region while drinking coffee in the morning will transport you to a lost China. Fantastic breakfast and very comfortable rooms. On the front of the hotel a walking area keeping you aside from traffic Will bring you to the ancient Town of Daxu , a small Village beside. The restorant on River level Will complete the offer for your staying. The rest is by photos attached . Strictly raccomanded if you wanna relax.

Our room was huge with 2 single beds and 1 king bed, balcony, 2 bathrooms. The room was very clean and location very relaxing. Breakfast on the top floor of the hotel with a nice view and good selection of food. We dined in the restaurant at the bottom of the restaurant for dinner. Not a lot around the hotel; strawberry farm nearby and a couple of small shops with mostly drinks and limited food. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay for one night.

Love the river view n mountain view from the hotel room, huge balcony where u could laze yr afternoon away! Good quality hotel interior finishing and I really like the Chinese style deco with a chinoiserie touch. Exceeded my expectation in many ways, esp customer service! The staffs were friendly and helpful and everyone is so smiley! The breakfast restaurant has a fantastic view of the river n mountains too.

Besides being far from everything except the ancient town, this hotel has everything! Amazing views, great service, yoga class, laundry room, amazing breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Amazing stay.

A lady with staff number 11 was very helpful when I asked her for information about a booking. She helped me with it and since there was a problem with my phone she used hers. This exceptional service deserves more than a 5/5. Thank you so much again! Given that I am learning Chinese, I also appreciate that she did the effort to communicate with me in Chinese. Her English was much better than my Chinese so it was very polite of her to bear with me and shows a high degree of professionalism. This made a very good impression of the hotel. The breakfast was nice, I appreciated that local specialties were offered. The setting is also pleasant with beautiful views on the river. Finally, the room was clean and comfortable (and it was effectively smoke-free!), the hotel represents a nice mixture of modern and traditional Chinese features. Overall, I definitely recommend this place, note that it is conveniently located on the way to the shipping wharfs with ferries to Yangshuo. Just one tip: don't advertise the room I had as "mountain view" as all I could see were appartment buildings, for me it was no big deal (especially given the high price-quality ratio) but it might generate false expectations.

If you're planning a trip to Guilin, then you absolutely must check out this incredible gem of a hotel. The staff here are simply amazing - shoutout to badge numbers 06 (aka the Legendary one), 11, 18, 14, 43, and 44 for making my stay so enjoyable. Every single team member here is welcoming and friendly, creating an unbeatable ambience that you won't find anywhere else. And let's not forget about the breakfast - the traditional Guilin rice noodles are a must-try. Honestly, I'd fly back to Guilin just to stay here again. Nice hotel on river side with good view restaurant on the top. Discounted room are good but they don’t have river view. It’s still possible to go to the roof easily. Access to da current city by walking distance with nice road. Buffet breakfasts are good.

It is in the main road to Daxu, a little apart form the town but the hotel itself it is exquisite. The biggest room of our trip. All carpeted. Clean room, great service. The Breakfast buffet was great, we didn't expected it.
