"The location is very convenient, right next to the bus stop. However, the bathroom is shared, and with so many other guests, there's only one toilet. It's quite inconvenient... The breakfast was also rather mediocre, and the staff were understaffed, with the front desk often empty. It cost over NT$5,000, and I don't think it was worth it..."

It's just a 5-minute walk to the ski resort, and the food is not only delicious but also diverse and freshly prepared for every meal. During our stay over Christmas, the hotel even crafted a special Christmas menu for us. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return if I decide to ski at Hirugano Kogen again."

"Gujyo vacance Mura Hotel is the hotel of the bugs. There are many bus in the room. And when I went to ask the reception, they said it’s normal. The bug is in every room in the hotel. I think it’s not the normal thing for the visitor or the customer to sleep with a lot of bugs. At first, they refused to give us the new room because they said it is in every room. But later they give us the key of the new room, but when I open it, I found the bug too. "Very cute traditional tatami inn in a very cute town. Getting there from Nagoya train station is either three slow trains (the last one being a cute mountain diesel single carriage one, fancy tourist dining car option also available), or by express bus (make sure you reserve a seat!). We fell asleep to the sound of the river running nearby, there are plenty of shared toilets, and showering is done onsen-style downstairs."

"It's away from the main road and far from other plots, so it's a great place to enjoy nature. The private wood-fired sauna was a valuable experience, and I'd definitely like to use it again. The cottage gets hot during the day, and since you can't open the windows, it's uncomfortable to sleep at night. There must be a gap somewhere, because the second floor has become a home for insects. If only that wasn't the case. Next time I'd like to use the tent deck during the cooler months."
