Golden Crown Grand Hotel

My first time in this hotel. Our families really likes this hotel because it is so near Kim Yong and Lee Garden. Air cond is cold and water pressure is great. We have the adjoining rooms which is so good.

Room is ok , wash room so small, water pressure very slow. location is very good, just nearby market.

I like this hotel a lot so I stay twice. The room is spacious and clean, the staff is helpful and polite. I recommend this hotel. It's in the city close to the market and many restaurants to choose from. On weekends walking street night market is so close to walk to.

The hotel is clean and very good location. This hotel is not very expensive. A lot of food and massage centre! Is very near to Kim Yong market and walking distance to Lee garden. No issue with Tuk tuk to this hotel. Will stay again when I visit hatyai.

The room exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

Pro: Good service of most staff, esp security guard who helped to find nearby parking for hotel guests as carpark lots are severely limited at the hotel. Location is very convenient - near massage places, night market, Kim Yong Market, bird's nest shops, 7-11, Mcdonalds. Con: Long checking in process as receptionist seemed inexperienced or unsure about bookings from Trip.com. Severely limited carpark lots onsite. Moldy toilet ceilings. Rooms had strands of hair everywhere, and stuck on door knob. Rusty lamp shades. Musky smell upon entering the room. Sound proofing is bad, we could hear super clearly the housekeeping staff laughing and talking. Toilet ventilator did not work. Hot water comes on and off. Church service is held on Sunday from 10am to 12pm. It also clashes with checkout timing which they stated by 12pm sharp. Front office manager cannot communicate well and comes off rude. Notable observation: New testament and Mind Development books were placed on the bedside table in all rooms. We stayed at a few hotels in Hatyai and made some comparisons. You pay the extra for the good location but if you drive or are willing to walk 5-10min, there are many hotels in the vicinity that offer better service and comfort, and at a cheaper rate. We felt uncomfortable staying at this hotel and will not return.
