Far Mountain Dream Hotel

Recommended place to stay near Dagu Glacier This hotel is around 6km from Dagu, worth the price! Amenities are complete (toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, towels, etc. as written on the booking page.. although it would be great if they can provide tea/ coffee in the room to enjoy the view in the morning ). The room was very big for 2 people. It's clean and the bed has a heater in it, the AC also works well. The shower was also great, no heating problem or small water. Although the floor doesn't have heater. there are slippers that can be used around the room. The lady on the frontdesk was very accomodating and very friendly. Really appreciate it! The check in process was very easy for foreigners like us. Overall. it was a great stay. and if we’re going back to Dagu, we would love to stay here again.

Good location to Dagu glacier!

The location is really good it's very peaceful, about 10 mins by walk to have food or 10rmb by taxi.(to Dagu Glacier 30rmb,10 mins by taxi) The receptionist is very helpful although she cannot speak English, she still try to help us. The room is very cute, clean and spacious. Hot water, warm blowers, electric blanket work well. Tibet decorative lobby is stunning but it is smoking area.

We have a very warm welcome from the staff and they are really help use to booking the ticket for Dagu gracier and Taxi to sent us to the entrance, They also help us to find the car to sent us at Maoxian railway station. The place was clean and homey.

Hotel staff are very nice and helpful! Help us to arrange the trip in Heishui, really appreciate. The location is not far from Dagu Glacier, however if you want to go supermarket or restaurants, we need to get the taxi which is the staff can help to contact the taxi service for you.

Overall a decent stay. The cleaning needs improvement. Shower had hair and pillow case has small stains. Other than these small issues the hotel is well catered. Also the view from the queen room was very nice of a morning.

Hotel is locate in the mountain, hard to find taxi so it’s not convenient if you don’t have a car. Staff aren’t sit in the check in counter all the time, you have to call them but if you can’t speak chinese, it will be very hard for you. Room is ok but electric system will interval automatic shut down (I’m not sure it’s normal in Heishui or not)

The hotel is located a bit far from everything but if you're hungry they can help you order some food . The staff is helpful and friendly

No public transport from Hongyuan but buses link Chengdu. It takes longer to arrive than the map suggests due to the winding roads but great scenery en route in a relatively secluded valley. Hotel is very welcoming and a great room, very spacious and lovely view. Very helpful at reception and lots of space downstairs. Easy to get to Dagu Bing Shan and a variety of other places to walk. Close to all amenities but also offers a quiet location in a more traditional setting.
