"Hotel a short distance on foot from the historic center of Horta, structured "amphitheatrically" so that all the rooms face the internal garden, with swimming pool, and have a view of the island of Pico. The rooms are large, comfortable, and have a small balcony. Laminated flooring (no carpet). The lighting in the room is poor, which makes it a little sad in the evening. Few wall sockets to charge mobile phones and PCs at the same time. or other electronic devices. Free Wifi network available to guests, but without security password. The common room for breakfast/dinner is large and bright, equipped with a rich buffet. The collection of used plates by some members of the dining room staff was a little too "pressing", as they literally "pulled away" the dishes on which the last mouthful of food was being consumed... Courteous reception staff, who also speaks English. Overall, a hotel in which we enjoyed our stay and which we recommend."

"The large rooms all come with a lovely balcony and view. The restaurant is good and so is the bar (also with a nice view) It's a bit up hill from the main part of town and harbor, although we walked it a number of times and there are plenty of taxis if you don't feel like a walk. We really enjoyed our stay."

Breakfast was adequate but cannot comment on lunch or dinner as we ate elsewhere. Central for activities. Unfortunately there was a 4 day festival next door that kept going until 1-2am but noise levels were acceptable"

"From 02.-06.09.2025 we stayed (2 persons - 74 + 77) at a price of 800 Euro in the 1st floor of the International Acores Boutique Hotel in Horta, in the Curtis 103 room, with direct view to the port of Horta. The house, completely renovated and reconstructed about 6-8 years ago, is located next to restaurant and bar with outdoor beauty and according to negative sound scenes 13 hotel rooms with modern equipment, as well as bathroom and toilet. The rooms and the other rooms of the hotel are very clean and clean, and there is absolutely nothing to defect. However, the fact that all rooms are very circumstant and also affected by the strong noise of the headstone patch streets directly adjacent to the hotel, on which the main traffic of mopeds, Cars and trucks flow through Horta day and night. In the rooms, however, this traffic noise is still so noisy due to the untied sound protection windows that you can hardly sleep without hearing protection and thus hardly. The breakfast in the restaurant is rather modest and the service leaves very desirable. "Great place to stay in Horta, just a few minute’s drive or 10 minutes’ walk to the town center, and great views across the bay to the Monte. Access to the building and room was through door codes, so easy check-in. Our room had a nice sea/mountain view, plenty of windows, was clean and comfortable. Next to our room was the very nice communal kitchen for preparing and eating meals – really a great asset. The AC worked well, as did the Wifi internet. We really enjoyed are stay here and would definitely stay here again."
