Kawazu Kaplıcalı Otelleri

"Clean and well-kept hotel. Love the restaurant setting. Hawaii-theme hotel by the beach. Rate is reasonable, especially during the off-season. High season, a lot more expensive but if you love hotel by the beach with outdoor pool, medium size natural hot spring, this place is worth consideration. Great to go in early to mid February when the Kawazu sakura start to blossom along the river near the hotel - an easy 18-minute walk along the coast from hotel."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Ittouan. The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They noticed us from far away and immediately came to help carry our luggage. One of the staff members, a lovely young lady who spoke excellent English, was especially helpful and made communication very easy. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but I would like to thank her again. We booked both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh and the variety was impressive. Every dish was different and beautifully prepared. However, for two women like us, the portions were honestly quite generous — even sharing one meal between two people might have been enough! The location is excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to Kawazu Station, which makes it extremely convenient for visiting the Kawazu cherry blossoms. It is also very close to the beautiful coastline, so the surroundings are lovely. Our room had a private onsen bath where we could soak while enjoying the view of cherry blossoms, which was a truly special experience. There is also a larger private bath available by reservation (free of charge). We also tried the hot stone spa, which was incredibly effective in relieving the fatigue after my marathon. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I would love to come back again in the future, hopefully with my family.

"Great location 1 min from bus stop , all 7 waterfalls route is coming right next to hotel . Waterfall sounds behind a window and open onsens. Very nice and kind service from owners. Only minus is it’s permitted to smoke in the rooms so it smells a bit. Better to have at least some non smoking rooms, cause it’s tough when you’re not smoking and with the kids. The food was great, different menu for 2 days."

"The staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby. However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot. However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much."

"This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are  the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.  Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay."
