Huangshan Bai Yun Hotel

We have great hospitality from 艳艳 (我们的管家） The resort is located at the idea venue, closed to 光明顶 walking distance 15 to 20 mins, toilet with smart toilet, with hotel shower as well as all the necessary toiletries, room with warmer, bed is comfy, blanket can really keep u warm, she even ready some snack for us to have it when descent from the resort, btw when we heading back to resort after completed west sea got heavy rain, she immediate get us a cup of ginger tea! The room with spare warmer jacket too 😊

The hotel is nice and located very close to Guangming Ding around 15 minutes walking distance. The service of hotel was excellent. Specially thanks to customer service staff 黄星华 gave me a great guidance on how to walk around the Huangshan via weixin as I don't have local phone number. The hotel treats the customer like family members and take good care of them during the stay. Recommended to stay in this hotel. Excellent service and great location.

Shulin is the best receptionist ever! She was so kind and made our stay at the hotel so pleasant.

The Baiyun Hotel was a wonderful choice for our visit. The property is charming, nestled among breathtaking mountain views that are sure to leave a lasting impression. The rooms are beautifully appointed, blending style and practicality. Our window offered a stunning panorama, and the room was equipped with all the essentials for a mountain excursion, including flashlights and warm clothing. A highlight of our stay was the delightful breakfast included each morning, featuring a variety of fresh, local cuisine that perfectly prepared us for the day's adventures. Our manager, 黄星华, was exceptionally accommodating. She was always ready to answer our questions, providing tips on the best places to visit, and the optimal times to catch the sunrise and sunset. She was also incredibly helpful with some broader challenges we faced during our trip to China. Overall, we highly recommend the Baiyun Hotel to anyone looking to explore Huangshan in comfort, without the need to camp outdoors. This hotel offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, comfort, and outstanding hospitality.

Location is perfect at the top of the mountain, we arrived after a day of hiking and were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff - especially Qinqin who kept in touch with us and sent us weather/cloud cover/sunrise details by message. We were so impressed and pleasantly surprised by the hotel facilities - really good food (and very reasonably priced), warm and clean room, smart toilet, mountain-view from the window, warm jackets provided for watching the sunrise (we were lucky to catch a clear sky for the sunrise!). They also prepared small items of complimenary local snacks and coffees throughout our stay. There was a small performance of the traditional opera style in the evening in the main hall which was lovely (especially for my UK partner to experience!). Would highly recommend and would stay again

We had a personal attendant who took care of us and added my WeChat so I could ask her any questions, (not sure how it would be if you didn't speak Mandarin) but Song Shu Lin was attentive in answering my queries, super lovely and even gave us a little biscuit and apple care package at night. The room had thick red winter jackets so we could wear them when we went to see the sunset/sunrise. I recommend staying here if you're looking at more than one day on the mountain, the price is worth it and in a similar price range to all the other private rooms on the mountain. Note: for any foreigners booking for 2024 up until June/July (not sure when the promo finishes) but there's now free ticket entries on Wednesdays for the whole of China which are usually booked out in advance and capped at 300,000 people but if you have a hotel booked on the mountain, you might can get away with still going up the mountain. Show your passport at the ticket office at the base and they'll let you in with a special pass (best if you speak Mandarin). But if you can, I recommend not going on Wednesday as the queues are long, and it's so packed in the morning.

The service was exceptional! From the first moment we felt really cared of and the staff were all helpful, servicial and friendly. Specially Yanyan took really good care of us, sending us news and related useful info through WeChat. After a long day of hiking we were exhausted and found a comfortable and warm room already prepared to us. 10/10 I would highly recommend it!
