"The inn is elegant, spacious, full of texture, natural wood finishes and warmth (wood burning fire places in lounge, very nice gas fireplace in our bedroom and the 'attic' a place to play pool, board games, read, watch movies, complete with self service honor system wine bar. Each morning a breakfast spread in the lounge/dining hall is included, and not to be missed-fresh baked local goods, cheese, yogurt, granola, egg sandwiches, etc."

"This dated place is expensive and without scheduled amenities, such as restaurant & bar open for breakfast or lunch. No housekeeping available for any length stay. Beds & furniture old & in need of replacement. The refrigerator sounded like it has a gas engine and erupted at all hours of the night. No water for coffee provided...worst mistake in 80 years of travel. Beautiful country but stay away from this dump."

"This is the best lodgi place if you ski Hunter Mountain. The restaurant is very good too. Clean sauna, outdoor pool and gym are a huge plus too. A real ski in-ski out place."

" My wife and I visited for our third time recently. DMI is exceptional; staff members are detail-oriented, highly-trained and focused professionals who have all parts of your stay figured out before you arrive. Kaitlyn handled all ins and outs of managing the entire campus, it seemed, with total professionalism. Rebecca and Bart were Manhattan or Nantucket-level servers who did not miss a beat; Bokeen and Miranda provided drinks and hot fires without breaking a sweat. All of them are kind, caring people who want you to relax and unwind. This place is a gem; you can hike, shop for antiques or watch a football game and relax all within a five-minute drive (yes, a literal five-minute drive). The food is outrageously good, so much so that I booked our fourth stay between our plates being cleared and the dessert coming out. They have an unrivaled eye for seemingly everything big and small; the decor is exactly how you see it in magazines and the feel matches that of a cozy, private cabin. They’re also adding additional, separate cabins that are sure to define luxury. Keep an eye on DMI, as it rightfully books up quickly. "

"Be very careful. I have stayed here in the past but I will never stay here again. We needed to reserve for a family funeral. Two nights (Fri out on Sunday) cost $801, with no housekeeping (not even freshen bathroom) and no breakfast or lunch in the hotel dining room. They neglected to tell us the restaurant opened at 4 pm Fri & Sat, close at 9 pm, closes earlier on Sunday. Two vending machines with water @$4 per. A “grab & go” breakfast that consisted of the smallest muffins I’ve ever seen, coffee, tea, that’s it. Didn’t have an option to purchase more, I.e. fruit, yogurt. If you want housekeeping it’s an extra daily charge (not sure how much). You deal with your luggage in your own. The property is dated & in need of lots of TLC+. The refrigerator motor was so loud & the air conditioning was right next to the bed & was freezing on the lowest setting. We were limited in choices of hotels near where we needed to go. We sent an email outlining our experience & basically got a so sorry. It was a take it or leave it attitude. Extremely disappointed. If there was less than 1 star i would have chosen that rating."
