"Hotel man is great, he speaks very good English and is super friendly and kind. Transportation by car was arranged to and from the train station as well as for heading up the hill at 6am to the Jinshanling great wall park entrance to catch sunrise from the Great Wall at the top. It is possible to just walk up to the gate instead, it just takes longer to walk the 2 km to the ticket checking gate, and there is then still some maybe 15 mins of walking uphill before getting to the top. Photos show the view from my room, the menu of the hotel restaurant, dinner (尖椒豆片炒肉), and breakfast (fried rice and soup)."

"A nice hotel with a great location near the Jinshanlin mid-gate. From the hotel, we took two long and beautiful 10km walks along the Great Wall. The room we stayed in for two nights was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were excellent. It's a large hotel, and unfortunately, there were few other guests. The private car transfer to Beijing, which we arranged through reception for an agreed-upon price, ultimately wasn't handled well and caused us considerable frustration. After leaving, it turned out the driver wasn't allowed to enter Beijing's inner ring road with his car, and shortly afterward, he suddenly asked for a higher price for the ride."

"Albergo situato alle porte della Jianshanling scenic area (20 min a piedi fino all’entrata dove si può iniziare la scalata per arrivare alla muraglia)
Per arrivare noi abbiamo optato per un treno da Beijingbei a Gubeikou e poi organizzato con host un transfer.
Host molto gentile e accogliente che ci ha offerto anche un upgrade gratuito🙃.
L’albergo è pulito e accogliente con il ristorante al piano terra comodo perché intorno non c’è niente. Cibo buono e ad un prezzo giusto.

"Hotel just a short walking distance to Jinshanling great wall entrance. After 4 hrs climbing up and down great wall. It good to walk back to hotel for a rest. Room is spacious and simple. Breakfast is typical Chinese style -- porridge, bun, vegetables. They do offer cook food at reasonable price.
Only con is toilet floor will be wet after showering."

"Absolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

"At the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a
price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here."

"Ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt am Fuße der Mauer! Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten unglaublich gemütlich. Der beste Schlaf auf der ganzen Reise. Es waren draußen fast -20 Grad, aber innen war es wohlig warm. Der Besitzer hat uns gute Tipps für die Wanderung auf der Mauer gegeben. Das hausgemachte Essen war überaus köstlich. In den Zimmern hängen wunderschöne Fotografien der Mauer, die der Besitzer selbst angefertigt hat. Egal was wir benötigt haben, sie haben sich bestens und rührend um uns gekümmert. SShiwen理想國在金山嶺阿那亞可能衹有8間房，每個房間都是獨特的。我們的房間很大，睡卧區，起居區，盥洗區，分區明確，還帶一個很大的露台。裝飾屬侘寂風格，古樸又有質感。床褥很乾凈舒服，還帶浴缸🛁，由於天冷，沒有用浴缸。第二天下午去泡了温泉♨。服務很好，有求必應。樓下是理想國書店和咖啡☕，環境超級好，安靜，下次來再訂這裏。

11581059****五一出遊非常滿意！民宿位置離金山嶺東門非常近，開車兩三分鐘。五月三號早上八點過去東門上山沒什麼人，一路玩一路拍照，景色很美，非常出片。待爬到正門纜車位置人巨多，錯不開身，果斷下山。山下纜車已經開始排大隊了。
民宿衞生很好，房間熱水，洗澡都很方便。
沒帶充電插頭還給借了一個。
臨走時眼鏡落民宿，老闆人非常好，還給我寄回北京了！感謝老闆！下次來還住這裏！

If you are into photography, even better as they will provide all the best advice, including getting a double-entry ticket so that you can go for sunrise and sunset shoot. 1、有簡單早餐，雖然樣兒不多，但是吃飽沒問題，發麪餅、花捲、粥、煮雞蛋和幾樣小鹹菜，比出去找飯店吃節省時間。
2、既有一次拖鞋又有傳統泡沫塑料拖鞋，後者洗澡很方便。
3、前台工作人員服務熱情，有求必應。
發現的問題：
1、洗澡後下水不能馬上排掉，第二天衞生間地上還有存水。
2、熱水器接了大蓮蓬頭，這種蓮蓬頭出水量大，後期熱水器的熱水供不上，水變涼。所以建議更換成小噴頭。
我住的房間在樓道最裏側，打開窗下面就是飯店聚集的鑫港東街，相當於到房間得走大半條街呢哈哈，所以這房間房價便宜？
酒店提供的一次性洗漱用品，除了小香皂，別的俺沒有用（最後一圖），用的自己帶的牙具和洗髮水。為了保護環境建議大家儘量少使用一次性用品，這類用品用完一次就被丟棄，對環境不友好哦。
