My stay at Best Wishes was absolutely wonderful—it’s hands down the cleanest hotel I’ve visited in China! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities. The attention to cleanliness was exceptional, making my stay incredibly comfortable. The views from the hotel were breathtaking— But what truly made my experience special was the staff. They were incredibly hands-on, friendly, and went out of their way to assist with anything I needed. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Meizhou. Most importantly, I haven’t slept this well in a long time! The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything was just perfect for a restful night. Services are very good . They have a driver they used to pick and drop us from Ferry terminal . He is highly recommended . Front desk reception , Miss 黄&英英are very very helpful with tickets purchase and giving local informations . Beautiful location . Can do with a small change of break fast , and they send up a beautiful afternoon tea .

This is one of the BEST hotel I've stayed so far. Firstly, the room is super clean, hotel staff is also very friendly, breakfast buffet is pretty good! The room we booked is also huge, there is definitely ample space for multiple people and luggages! Bed is comfortable as well, and shower pressure is strong. A little downside is its about 20mins from the main city. Also, laundry and dryer are available for free. I will fully recommend this place if you're here for a short trip! Also, there is free car pick up and drop off service to Putian train station. You have to contact them a few days in advance. For international tourists, recommend that you use wechat and is able to type chinese for reserving the service :)

Clean and neat hotel, newly open, 2024. Location a bit far from main road, but still accessible by didi. It is a proxy location for going to Ehmei Island if you not plan to drop by Futian. Good service and big room. Independent air conditioning.

I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience … Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature. Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available. Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest. I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

Room and toilet is clean. However the toilet flashing system wasn’t working well for 2 days. Breakfast selection is good but the service staff are fairly rude.

First off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
