"The host couple were wonderful, accommodative and helpful, as mentioned in many reviews. Although a little confusing to locate initially, it is actually quite accessible to the shopping and restaurant areas. We love the spaciousness and layout of the room. The Hinoki bath was a star feature for us. We will definitely want to visit again. Thank you to the special hosts🙏🏼"

"It was nice stay! The onsen was tiny but the quality of water was so nice. The only thing you should be careful about, that the rooms without a private bath might be without a shower. Location, view and other things are cool!"

"1.Parking abit inconvenient,paid 1000 per day but every time must engage hotel staff to arrange the car in and out and also only available 8am-10pm range  2.water only 1 small bottles per day , we didn’t know and take one more that day, the male staff snatch back from us (unbelievable !), we don’t mind to buy from across Family mart, 1 big bottles only 120yen, why hotel so calculating, just put the sign so the guests will know  3.so call breakfast included is only a cup of coffee and 1 bread"

"熱海旅行の際にこちらの旅館を利用させていただきました。駅からは遠いのですがシャトルバスがあるので送迎はそちらを利用すれば問題ないかと思います。バスも1番乗り場、相の原行きに乗れば熱海山荘まで行けますが最寄りから少し歩くのでシャトルバスを利用するのが無難かと思います。 スタッフの方は受付からシャトルバスの方まで、全員が本当に親切で、心が温まりました。 朝食と夕食がつきますが、朝はビュッフェタイプ、夜は豪華な鰻重が用意されており驚きました。朝食のビュッフェはグラタンから焼鮭などちょうど良いバリエーションで非常に楽しめました。なめこのお味噌汁が本当に美味しくて感動いたしました。 次熱海に行く時はまた利用したい!と思えるくらい満足のいく熱海旅行でした。スタッフの方、皆さんありがとうございました。"

"為了去看熱海的花火大會而提前半年多訂的這家温泉酒店，所以價格不算很高，臨時預訂的話價格超過兩千就沒必要了。 圖一是房間的情況，三人入住，很典型的傳統日式酒店，圖二是窗户望出去的景色，離海邊還有一點點距離，需步行大約十幾分鍾。花火大會的會場就在眼前的海域，可以在酒店房間看，也可以在酒店露台看，但我們最終還是選擇了去會場看。凡是入住熱海當地酒店的，在會場有專門的區域，所以不用擔心扎人堆，反而是可以得到Vip的觀景位。我們在海邊第一排位置，觀看效果十分震撼，花火幾乎就是撲面而來，在眼前炸裂。見視頻。 如果沒有花火大會，單從温泉酒店的角度而言，金城館的規模還算比較大，但是設施陳舊，維護也不是很好，如果沒有體驗過日式温泉酒店的，可以試一試，如果有過經驗的，就不是很推薦了，性價比不高。酒店早餐是日式自助，怎麼説呢，能吃飽，但是東西都比較廉價的感覺，相同住宿費住四星以上酒店的話，早餐品質肯定會好很多。還有，酒店離熱海站有一定距離，提供接駁車服務，但班次有限，見圖四。 每個人選擇的標準不同，我的看法僅供參考。"

"I suppose the charm of Atami is that the whole area is a little bit 'dated' as far as a resort goes, and this hotel definitely aligns with that - it seems like a place that was once great and is now kind of just rolling along bringing in what money it can. The food is serviceable but totally uninspired - an upscale cafeteria masquerading as something better than it is with 'chefs' wearing their whites. The entire dining room constantly smells of fryer oil from the tempura - which they still make and keep stock of in such large quantities that it is never fresh and crispy anyways (especially the shrimp, which has not been sufficiently dried before battering). The remaining hot dishes are very disappointing both in terms of variety and overall flavor. The sushi and sashimi is the standout of the food, although it too is very basic - not anything that will blow your mind, but acceptably tasty and reasonably fresh (although on our second night everything tasted a bit soapy/bleachy). As a westerner you will be very disappointed by the breakfast, although that's a 'me' problem rather than a hotel problem per se. The spa facilities are nice but a bit dated - be careful in your selection of both time and location unless you want to be surrounded with many loud (mostly Chinese) children. Private spas are available and are quite nice, although again dated. Nonetheless at around 60 USD for an hour the price is good for the privacy, especially as a westerner who is otherwise subject to quite a bit of staring at this mostly local and Chinese spa. We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was spacious with an enormous and comfortable bed, and a (For japan) reasonably sized tub. Room and desk service was good. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path but has regular free shuttles to/from Atami station, which is where the main tourist streets for shopping etc can be found. Highly suggest checking out Golden Eye for some excellent Ramen."

"We had a lovely stay at Hotel Oonoya. One of the perks was the free shuttle bus from Atami Station to the hotel. However, the map provided on the website seems outdated, which caused some initial confusion. Thankfully, the station staff was very helpful and directed us to the correct bus bay. A highlight of our trip was catching the Atami fireworks from the hotel’s rooftop — the view was absolutely perfect and made for a memorable evening. The indoor hot spring was also a standout feature: it’s spacious, spotlessly clean, and very relaxing after a long day of travel. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Just be sure to double-check shuttle bus details upon arrival!"

"賓至如歸的享受！ 酒店職員親切有禮，耐心講解酒店一切設施。房間得舒適雅致，陽台可以看到整個熱海市，還可以看日出。有美味的餅乾和蛋糕小食，雪櫃裝滿各款飲品，房間私人溫泉，可以開窗望到小景色，當然公共浴場的落地玻璃全景更正！ bar&lounge在3:00-7:00pm，有各式各樣酒精和非酒精飲品免費飲用，好chill，仲有服務員熱情款待和幫手拍照。 晚餐美味精美，除了清炒岩魚太鹹了有點可惜。 早餐也很美味，很豐富，200分！很喜歡這間酒店，太值了！"
