I was very disappointed with my stay. There was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage in the rooms, which could also be detected from the hallway, even 10 meters away. I was on the 5th floor, and despite the hotel’s reputation, this was not what I expected. Additionally, loud music from a nearby bar or restaurant continued until midnight, making it very difficult to sleep. I had to keep the window open due to the smell, and so did my colleague in the neighboring room — but with nighttime temperatures around 8–9°C, the room was uncomfortably cold. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a hotel with such a good name.

1. Otel gerçekten de en yakın metro istasyonundan yürüyerek biraz uzaktadır. Kısa süreli bir iş gezisi olduğundan çok fazla endişelenmenize gerek yoktu. Otel zincirinin genel kalitesi garantilidir. Yakınlarda alışveriş merkezleri var ve daha çok eski şehirdeki bir yerleşim bölgesini andırıyor. Otelin alt katındaki küçük süpermarket beni besliyor, satın alınabilecek hazır yiyecekler var ve daha hayat odaklı geliyor. Oda büyüklüğü ortalama, bazı koridorlarda halı yok ve yürüme sesi rahatsız edici. 2. Otelden yakınlardaki bazı ilgi çekici yerlere yürüyerek ulaşabilirsiniz. Ben şahsen şehir yürüyüşünü tercih ediyorum, bu yüzden eski şehrin yaya caddesi gerçekten çok güzel. 3. Çok fazla yerel para birimi bozdurmanıza gerek olmaması tavsiye edilir. Our stay at the Mercure Bucharest was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Location of hotel is good, right near Old Town, room size is fine, breakfast standard European breakfast, hotel has no restaurant of its own but there are restaurants near by plus convenience stores across the street. The one single issue is the WiFi at the hotel is really bad; however, when I brought this matter up at the front desk, the gentleman at the Reception was kind enough to lend me a router, and the issue was resolved.

Check-in işlemi oldukça kolaydı. Otel beklentilerimizi karşılasa da el yıkama lavabosunda sabun yoktu. Duşta sabun, şampuan ve duş jeli yoktu. Odada tek kullanımlık terlik yoktu ancak havlu vardı. Duşta anlayamadığım bir leke vardı. Temizliğin iyileştirilmesi gerekiyor, yataklar fena değil ancak ranza gıcırdıyordu. Otelden çıkış saati 10:00. Ancak çok erken bir çıkış saati. En geç 12:00 olması gerekiyor. Otelde bagaj muhafazası yok. Kesinlikle olmalı. Personeli bize yardımcı olmaya ikna edemedik.
