Great amenities, clean hotel and generally warm and kind staff. However, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they welcomed us ok - but nothing special given we paid for a special executive level treatment. Breakfast was plenty of options but some limitations to those who are vegan and would like healthier options. Staff lack attentiveness that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me some watermelon (because I saw they had freshly cut and stored watermelon sitting in the fridge) but all staff repeatedly said no. It felt so silly looking at that watermelon just sitting there and me sitting so disappointed day after day, just craving it and not being able to get it so I went to the mall across the street and ate it there. I mean, not a five star experience really. Apart from great spa and fitness, we left pretty disappointed :(

Absolutely excellent staff, and a lovely hotel in Beitou. However the rooms are starting to show its age as it opened in 2010 - e.g. I observed some stains on the doors in my room. Conveniently located in the touristy part of Beitou, near the library and steps away from a 7-Eleven if you need anything at night.

Noel arifesinde otelde oldukça fazla insan vardı, bu yüzden saat 1:30 civarında giriş yapabildik. Otel 11/F'de yer alıyordu. Oldukça büyük ve görkemli bir yerdi. Yatak çok büyük ve tuvalet akıllı. Yatak çok rahattı ama sadece birkaç saat yan tarafıma yattım. Taipei'deki otellerin yeterli içme suyu var ama tam kahvaltı büfesi yalnızca saat ona kadar sürüyor. Kahvaltı genel olarak zengin olduğundan erkenden tadını çıkarmayı unutmayın. Otelde sauna ve el ele tutuşan çocuk oyun alanı bulunmaktadır. Çocuklar harika vakit geçirdiler. Genel olarak iyi, ulaşım rahat ve Ximending'e yakın.

Stayed at the Regent for our 20 year anniversary. The room was very clean, perfect temperature, and they offered a welcome snack. There weren't any personalised welcomes unfortunately but the room was great. They no longer offer disposable bathroom amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton, combs, hair brush etc, you need to bring your own. We had the pleasure of enjoying Tai Pan Lounge. They are open 24/7 for tea and coffee but offer snacks during breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a specific period. We also enjoyed the spa. They don't have communal wet facilities, only in the room, so your time there is limited depending on the treatment you booked. They do have a health and fitness club in B3 though where you can enjoy such facilities at your leisure. We had our anniversary dinner at Robins Grill and it was perfect. Service was amazing, food was exquisite, and the vibe was so pleasant. Definitely coming back to Robins Grill, it was our second time there! Overall, our stay was beautiful and we didn't want to leave.

Great breakfast, like many other guests have commented, not a huge variety but they have all the necessary ingredients for a filling breakfast buffet and all food taste good! Swimming pool and gym are both comfortable and huge The only problem is it isn’t too close to the metro but I come here for business trip so it’s fine for me

hotel was spotlessly clean with a nice smart tv that had netflix/disney+/prime as well as a filtered water filter! bedside tables also had international outlets for ease of charging, snack counter and drinks in the fridge were also on the house and would be topped up daily! had a very pleasant stay, would surely rebook again when i’m back in taipei :)

Excellent hotel located in Xinyi district in Taipei. Easy 10 min walk to nearest metro station and lots of amenities like convenience stores and laundry shops nearby. Service staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was a breeze for both our rooms. We stayed for 3 nights, will stay again. Breakfast portion was huge.

The hotel is in a great location, it has a lot of potential and you can tell they have spent a lot of money on the fit-out but I would say whoever is the general manager has not come from an international hotel brand and they just made everything so confusing with so many rules and procedures. I booked a room rate which meant I couldn't check in until 8pm which is like what a love hotel would do. I mean if they want to be a premium hotel why would you even offer this. The dry cleaning is a nightmare with free underwear and socks cleaning after two days but only one pair per day and and only this and only that and you have to use a special bag. Why make everything so confusing. I'd rather just pay for the laundry then learn all the rules. The tap in the bathroom is like a designer tap and it's extremely difficult to adjust the temperature and turn on and off. Outside all of this the electric curtains are nice, the remote control that controls everything is very good, the nano jet bath tub is nice and the sound bar in the room is nice but not so nice when your neighbour has it up super loud so you can hear it from next door. The lobby is weird, feels cold and empty with nowhere to sit and a pool and empty spa. I did enjoy my stay but I'd probably stay somewhere else unless I could get the deal super cheap but the whole place felt a bit of a miss.

Our family of six stayed at Hotel Èclat Taipei, occupying three different rooms on Level 5. Overall, the rooms were cosy, stylish, and felt luxurious, but our experience varied noticeably from room to room. One point to note is the lack of basic amenities — toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided, which may surprise some guests. Additionally, the room features were inconsistent: - One room had heated toilet seats, while the other two did not. - One room had automated curtains, while the rest were manual. - Another room had warm water from the bidet, but others did not. Although Hotel Èclat is a 5-star hotel, the lobby is relatively small and may feel cramped, especially when multiple guests are checking in at the same time. Sound insulation could also be improved, as we occasionally heard guests laughing late at night. That said, there were definite highlights. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and both the water pressure and bath products were excellent, making showers very enjoyable. These details made a big difference to our comfort. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. It is extremely close to Taipei 101, which is very convenient for guests planning to visit the area. The hotel is also situated between two MRT stations on the Red Line, each approximately 400–600 metres away. Walking to and from the MRT stations was pleasant, especially with the cool December weather, making the commute comfortable and enjoyable. We did not opt for the hotel breakfast, as we preferred exploring traditional ********* breakfast options nearby. The staff were polite, professional, and accommodating, assisting us with umbrella rentals and ensuring our rooms were on the same floor, which we appreciated greatly as a family travelling together. Overall, Hotel Èclat offers a comfortable stay in a prime location with attentive service, though greater consistency in room features, amenities, and shared spaces would further enhance the experience.
