"Stayed here in early January. The hotel was thoughtful enough to provide hand warmers as cold winds were forecasted for the following day.
Hotel location is about a 10-minute walk from Jiantan station. I would strongly recommend taking a taxi when arriving or leaving with luggage, the walk from the station is quite a hassle. On the plus, it is close to several convenience stores and only about 5 minutes from Shilin Night Market. The room was as described and decently sized to open two luggage. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure.
A few inconveniences I encountered included inconsistent housekeeping. Some items were replenished while others were not, on some days the towels were thin and also seemed old with stains (minor issue as replacements could be instantly requested). The air-conditioning also felt a bit slow at times, and some nights were slightly warm.
Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, it was still a pleasant stay, especially if you want to be close to Shilin Night Market."

"It's a hotel that I'll go back again when I'm visiting Taiwan for family trip.
There's regret in me for unable to spend more time in the hotel.
Room : Spacious, very vintage decoration which I like it a lot. Clean
Service : Friendly staff, I think the family runs this hotel. It gives me the vibe of a traditional Japanese Hotel when I travelled in Japan.
Plus point, which is the main reason why do I book this hotel : It comes with private hot spring in the room!!
but one thing to take note, there's no lift in the hotel, so you gonna walk up the stairs with your luggage. but that doesn't bother me much."

"The location of the Hotel isn't that convenient to go to, so it's recommend to look at their shuttle bus timing or simply book an Uber to ride up the hill.
Each room that you book also comes with a 1x free visit to the outdoor Spa facilities so I highly suggest you to bring a swim wear to go as it's pretty good even at night time.
As for the room it's spacious like other reviews photos have shown but not a lot of people have shown the bathroom/toilet so I'm including it here. It's a very spacious Toilet with the bathtub that has the Onsen water, and the shower head beside the bathtub."

"This place was amazing! I was a little hesitant to book because it went over our budget, but I'm so glad we did. They made us feel like guests rather than customers. I only regret not booking for at least 3 days! The one thing that bothered me was not knowing the full details about the shuttle service they provide (pick up location and times), but when I messaged them they replied pretty quickly. Place is spotless and they provide snacks and coffee/tea/water in the room. We would definitely come back if ever in Taiwan again!"

They probably dont use their pool heater much but i enjoyed more in their sauna, jacuzzi and steam room."

Our family had an amazing stay here. The room was spacious enough for all of us, with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches that made our stay relaxing. The hotel’s cleanliness was impressive, and housekeeping did an excellent job each day.
Location was ideal — plenty of food choices, convenience stores, and MRT stations nearby. Moving around the city was very easy.
What we appreciated most was the warm and friendly service. Staff greeted us sincerely every time and helped with directions, transport bookings, and recommendations.
Breakfast was varied and delicious, with options suitable for both adults and kids. Overall, a fantastic choice for families looking for comfort and convenience."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for couples.
"Location is convenient with restaurants, 7/11, supermarkets nearby; 300m from mrt station, walkable to Raohe night market, Mt elegant and tanpei 101 (25-35 mins), if you take mrt, it takes about same time and need some transfers. Bathroom is huge, cleanness is ok, ac was very cold and cannot be adjusted for each room. Some ventilation or water pipe or ac noise due to older systems, if you are a light sleeper, you might mind it. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great."

GGoldipityGreat amenities, clean hotel and generally warm and kind staff. However, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they welcomed us ok - but nothing special given we paid for a special executive level treatment. Breakfast was plenty of options but some limitations to those who are vegan and would like healthier options. Staff lack attentiveness that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me some watermelon (because I saw they had freshly cut and stored watermelon sitting in the fridge) but all staff repeatedly said no. It felt so silly looking at that watermelon just sitting there and me sitting so disappointed day after day, just craving it and not being able to get it so I went to the mall across the street and ate it there. I mean, not a five star experience really. Apart from great spa and fitness, we left pretty disappointed :(

You come out from the hotel, you get the luxury vibe of Taipei. Service? Top notch! Especially Kevin at the reception who had assisted us with our extensions and room choices. We love Taipei a little extra because of our stay in Humble House.

AAnonim KullanıcıThe experience was not pleasant. Upon arriving at the hotel late at night, we were informed by the hotel manager that they had oversold our room. Consequently, we were required to change hotels on the first day and return to this hotel the following day. The entire process was extremely lengthy, leaving us all exhausted. The reason I had booked this hotel for two nights was to avoid a tiring schedule of constant packing and unpacking our luggage. The on-duty manager had also promised to upgrade our room and provide us with lounge access after our return. However, these promises were not kept. The room upgrade was not made, and lounge access was also not provided.
To add on, there was no waiting area in front of the lobby, so you might want to reconsider choosing this hotel if you’re using Uber or car booking services.
Despite the overall quality of the hotel, I will not be booking it again.

We were caught in the rain when we arrived at the hotel, they immediately provided towels and warm tea for us to dry ourselves and keep warm. They provide an upgrade to a deluxe room for a bigger hot spring bath for 3 pax. The staff brought us up into our room and gave us a quick brief about room amenities. They also assisted in getting us an airport transfer in the morning and packed our breakfast for our flight. Great service from the hotel staff.

TTravelBeautyBugStayed at the Regent for our 20 year anniversary. The room was very clean, perfect temperature, and they offered a welcome snack. There weren't any personalised welcomes unfortunately but the room was great. They no longer offer disposable bathroom amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton, combs, hair brush etc, you need to bring your own. We had the pleasure of enjoying Tai Pan Lounge. They are open 24/7 for tea and coffee but offer snacks during breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a specific period. We also enjoyed the spa. They don't have communal wet facilities, only in the room, so your time there is limited depending on the treatment you booked. They do have a health and fitness club in B3 though where you can enjoy such facilities at your leisure. We had our anniversary dinner at Robins Grill and it was perfect. Service was amazing, food was exquisite, and the vibe was so pleasant. Definitely coming back to Robins Grill, it was our second time there! Overall, our stay was beautiful and we didn't want to leave.

**Grace*The service was terrible. I booked this hotel with 2 meals. , for dinner, they said we could not order the expensive menu, so we ordered within what they advised us. The oysters were not very fresh, and the soup was so blended, and there was no taste. We did not enjoy our meal much, and then once we finished, they gave us the bill with additional charge. I asked yhat lady what this additional charge for, then that lady did not even know what is wrong at the first. and then she called other senior lady, and she came back to us and explained like, ”This menu you ordered was actually not included in your meal plan. But it's okay since it's our fault, we will not charge to you. It's okay we will take this additional chages. ” I felt like... they are not generously allowing us something or giving services. Was so uncomportable. And the guy who work in the spa place on 2nd floor was so rude. Cheng? Chen? He was so rude and not quite nice. Also, for the outside spa(pool?), i know a lot of othe hotels spa allow people to use the shower cap on ther hair, but they said i should buy the swimming cap. Was so strict, so even we had the swimsuits, we were not able to use the outside spa(pool?). I paid almost 600$ and this hotel does not deserve to get this much amount. I do not recommend this hotel never ever.

Conveniently located in the touristy part of Beitou, near the library and steps away from a 7-Eleven if you need anything at night.

CChok KYI had an excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. The location is unbeatable—right next to Taipei 101 and in the heart of the Xinyi district, making it so convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining.
From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff always greeted me with a smile. My room was spacious, very clean, and well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a great view of Taipei 101. Housekeeping kept everything spotless during my stay.
Breakfast was another highlight—the buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices, both Western and Asian, and everything was fresh. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, especially the gym and pool, which were well maintained.
Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Taipei for anyone visiting the city. It truly delivers a luxury experience with comfort, excellent service, and perfect location. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.
