I'm a guest for a day for my exam. You can find everything you're looking for very simplely. The friend at the reception was a very warm and ill-food friend. I thank her for it. We had read amazing reviews about this hotel and so contacted the hotel last night. We spoke to Welat on the phone and he confirmed us a rate for the hotel room. We told him that we would be staying for 3 nights starting today 2nd January. Also mentioned on the phone that we hope the price will not increase once we reach the hotel. He said ofcourse not. Upon reaching the hotel, we have never come across someone so rude in the hotel industry. The young chap should not be allowed to be seated at the reception as he is on the way to ruin his family business. He said “I am a Liar. This is the increased price and I can sell it online for this increased price.” which was 40% more than what he had confirmed on the phone the previous night. He also added “I cannot speak to you any longer as I have a lot of hotel work to do.” and walked off. There was a customer who had been to the hotel around 29 times. He said the father is a gentleman. I just hope the father teaches Welat hotel business mannerisms. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone only due to the way we were treated.

Perfect stay in central of istanbul. Walking distance to Taksim and Galata Tower. Sishane metro and Tophane tram station are also nearby. Room was clean. The only thing we need maybe an electric kettle inside the room to make tea and coffee. And also more variety in the breakfast

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Sometimes it takes one interaction to ruin something and well my experience at this hotel took same turn. I had booked a corner room facing the Bosphorus through American Express. When I arrived, I asked for a room with two twin beds and the receptionist very rudely said he was certain my booking came through Expedia and that he was certain Expedia explains those rooms don’t have twin bed options and “it is your responsibility to pay attention!” I explained to him that American Express might book through Expedia but regardless the American Express booking page did not say king beds were the only option. He kept insisting that I booked through Expedia and the only option I had was to go with a room facing the city or pay extra for an upgrade. Even though I payed for the more expensive view, I ended up with the view facing the city. I later checked with booking.com and as a matter of fact they do offer corner room with twin beds facing the Bosphorus! You know so many times you check in hotels and out of curtesy they offer you an upgrade when a mistake is made but not here! The guy had to prove he was right and was very rude about it!

I drove in Turkey for half a month and stayed in more than 10 hotels. I must come to praise this hotel.
1. First of all, the location is excellent. Take the airport bus No. 16 to Taksim Square and walk to the hotel. Next to it is the five-star Ramada, which is very convenient for eating and shopping;
2. The hotel is relatively clean. The most troublesome thing in Turkey is the hygiene standard. The five-star hotel is also unsatisfactory. I hope the boss will continue to work hard on the hygiene standard;
3. We booked the 18-square-meter room, which is spacious enough, the bathroom is also sufficient, and the details are fully considered;
4. In addition to the facilities, the attitude and ability of the boss to solve problems reflect whether a hotel is good or not. There was a little episode on the first day of check-in, and the boss solved it perfectly. I give the boss a thumbs up;
5. When I come to Turkey again, this is the only hotel I want to stay in. Welcome everyone to experience it.

HHariI recently had the pleasure of staying at Mula Hotel in Istanbul with my family, including two toddlers, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the old Sultanahmet area, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, offering a perfect blend of convenience and cultural immersion. The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze.
The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable.
However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated.
I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels.
In conclusion, Mula Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a memorable experience. GGuest UserUnfortunately, during our stay at this hotel from 21 to 28 may 2022, a pair of shoes we had bought were stolen from us, and although the hotel's security cameras were checked and it was found that the fog had been stolen, they did not accept the hotel's security manager ! We were easily robbed in a five-star hotel chain , I attached a photo of the shoe bags on the day we bought it and went to the room .

GGuest UserI don't understand the logic of foreigners. I booked a three-bed room for one person, two people, and three people, but the price was different. The facilities are good, but the area is too desolate and there is nothing. If you just stay for one night, it's OK. It's also 30 minutes away from the airport. So I don't recommend staying in this area. It's better to live in the city.

GGuest UserI travel a lot and recently spent a fortune on another bigger trip plus I am planning something for Christmas so I didn't want to overspend on a hotel for this trip. I would rather spend the extra money on going out which I did! This hotel was dirt cheap. Location wise you are in Nişantaşı (an upmarket and non-tourist neighbourhood). Think Notting Hill or Chelsea in London. Great bars, chic restaurants and high end shopping. You are still very close to the tourist attractions and a twenty minute walk to Taksim Square. The hotel is not signposted. Very small. Looks like an apartment block of flats. Rooms are small but clean and cosy. Wifi is fast. Hot water, nice shower. Fridge, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast was included but I did not bother (looked basic anyway). I prefer to try different places. Location wise it is a five minute walk to the metro (take the correct exit that leads to the Ramada Plaza By Wyndham) and less than ten minutes if that to the bars, restaurants and shopping. Very safe area. The metro is Osmanbey and exit Pangaltı. This is not a luxury hotel at all. It is clean and comfortable. I was out all day. It was perfect to sleep, shower and then get up and go out again the next day. If you plan to be in the hotel more and want luxury then don't stay here. For me it was about location and cleanliness. Istanbul is a great city and trust me, you will be out exploring or enjoying the nightlife! Owners appear unfriendly as some reviews suggest but honestly, they are not. Just their nature. I would recommend this hotel if your looking for something cheap and cheerful. Use the money you have saved to enjoy some good food and treats like I am! Would I stay here again? Probably not but there is nothing wrong with it.
