"Bu ryokan'ı Kurokawa'daki (Kyushu) ryokanlarla aynı seviyede görüyorum. Tokyo'ya yakın (2-2,5 saat). Bölge tam olarak Kurokawa gibi bir köy değil, ama bence Hakone veya Arima'dan çok daha sessiz ve huzurlu. Ayrıca özellikle eski, kapalı bir tane (çok yüksek tavanlı, tek çatı altında iki kapalı kaplıca), birkaç açık hava kaplıcası (rotenburo) ve sanırım iki özel kaplıca (kashikiri-buro) var. Bunlardan biri ilk gelenin kullanımına açık, diğeri ise resepsiyonda küçük bir ücret karşılığında rezerve ediliyor. Ryokan'ın içinde bir müze odası, bir kütüphane ve sanırım bir tür müzik odası vardı (kesinlikle bir piyano gördüm ve raflarda plaklar istiflenmişti). Kaiseki (akşam yemeği) iki odada servis ediliyor ve her zaman olduğu gibi, konuklar birbirlerini rahatsız etmeyecek şekilde oturtuluyor (biz pencere kenarında, bar tezgahı gibi bir masada oturduk ve o manzarayla akşam yemeğinin ve ardından kahvaltının tadını çıkarmak çok keyifliydi). "This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Izu! When I booked online, there were no twin rooms available, so I reserved a king-sized room. Upon arrival, I spoke with the front desk, and they graciously switched us to a Japanese-style room for a small additional fee. The decor was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part was the hotel's seven private onsen baths, available on a first-come, first-served basis. We enjoyed them twice! Highly recommended."

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities. Staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The food was delicious, especially the fresh local ingredients. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene spa resort in Japan. We would love to return!"

"The hot springs were very nice, and the food was delicious. The facilities are old, but I suppose that can't be helped; they'll have to be completely renovated or rebuilt. The musty smell everywhere was a real problem. However, what's really disappointing is the lack of consideration for the guests. Two typhoons were predicted, so the day before my stay I called and asked if I could change my dates. Not a cancellation, but a change. They told me that they couldn't do it now because they had already started preparations. I was disappointed, but I went out in the heavy rain. That night the rain got heavier, and the next day I received an email from the inn in Izu Kogen that I had booked, saying, "Please don't push yourself, and we won't charge you a cancellation fee this time because of the circumstances." I think that was a sincere response that considered the guest's perspective. The next morning, when I checked out and told them about the response from the inn in Izu Kogen, they said that other guests didn't cancel, but I don't think that's a valid reason. I wasn't keen on going. Also, the innkeeper said that this amount of rain would be fine, but I'm not a local, so I don't know that. I drove there, and I was worried because I had read on the news that there was a possibility of road closures. I was given a 5000 yen refund, but I don't think that was the right thing to do. I booked through Jalan, but for some reason it was treated as a cancellation after check-out. I would like the feelings of the customers to be respected."

"The buildings are connected by cottages, but we weren't bothered at all by the noise or gaze of our neighbors. The surrounding roads were also quiet, allowing us to relax. Meals are not served buffet-style; instead, they are served in the dining room in turn. Because you eat slowly, you'll be completely full. Given the location, the seafood hot pot with sea bream and the sashimi were delicious. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese or Western style♪ We chose Japanese, and the rice was cooked in a traditional kamado (rice cooker), which was truly delicious! While the individual dishes for dinner and breakfast were small, there was a wide variety of side dishes. The price is a little on the higher side, but we were 80% satisfied!"

"This is a small hot spring inn located north of Toi Onsen. Located right next to the coast, all rooms have ocean views and come with open-air baths. At dusk, you can bathe in a hot spring bath with flowing water while looking out at the deep red sea. Dinner was luxurious and delicious, with spiny lobster, red sea bream, abalone grilled and funamori. The rice cooked with cherry shrimp at the end had a nice aroma and was very good. You can choose from three types of dried fish for breakfast, and you can also enjoy piping hot miso soup with spiny lobster. The customer service of the staff was also very polite and nice. The large public bath and open-air bath with a view are located on the 5th floor, and you can enjoy them while relaxing. It was also nice to have some tea prepared in the lounge after leaving the bath."
