Overall, I would recommend it. All my expectations were met…except parking. There is no parking near by.

You can save money here sharing your room with another guest. Not for everyone, but great for groups that want affordable and safe accommodations

Had to use a floor mat towel. Said the provided towels, and there were not any proper towels to be found anywhere. I would have brought my own but I left mine in the truck thinking they had towels…
Beds and sheets were very comfortable and clean though!

Their is no kitchen area, which is fine, but they never have towels available that are larger then hand towels... and they are very slow to replace toilet paper, which is a ridiculous thing to hide from people.

Only overnight parking during winter is half a mile away, there is no food storage or microwave. No ski storage people just leave there massive ski bags on the ground. The beds while comfy get super hot because of how they are enclosed. Even with several people mentioned the uncomfortable heat at night nothing changed

Never stayed in a hostel before. I was concerned about safety. Cache House was a great first experience at a hostel. It was clean. I felt safe.

The Cache House can't quite call itself a hostel.
Pros: Clean, comfortable bedding. Good location. Lockers were a nice option, but nothing big enough for ski gear.
Cons: Overall, it seems like the facility is severely understaffed with basic maintenance and upkeep not performed. Half of the showers were not functional and 2 of the 3 sinks were not working. Most of the bathroom facilities could really use a deep clean. Body wash/shampoo dispensers were beat up and largely empty. No fridge (!!!) or cooking facilities of any kind available. There is no one staffed in the basement and it seems like the building significantly prioritizes the hotel upstairs with the hostel being an afterthought.
