It's a lovely cozy Inn with basic amenities located on a lovely Area in Kandy, walking distance to the Kandy View Point warm hospitality by the owners who take care so much of your needs very efficiently and swiftly Cozy clean rooms with balcony views of the Kandy Lake Breakfast choice was good with Continental & Sri Lankan and decent quantity well prepared with home taste

A beautiful, cozy family run guest house. The owner of this guest house is extremely good person to stay at his place. The entire environment is very homely and you can spend long time there too. The view from balcony over the city is very nice. I would love to go back there to spend some relaxing time.

We booked this hotel with a couple of friends after comparing many options. Couldn’t be happier! Walking distance of the center, the personnel was super proactive and nice. Lastly, what a view!! Gorgeous! We had a wonderfull stay and would definitly recommend!

Really nice family! Very welcoming and helpful. Nice food aswell😋 would recommend. It’s close to Kandy lake and the view from the balcony is really nice. Warm water showers and the family is really helpful with giving recommendations. I enjoyed my stay!

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Great location with a view over the town. The food in the hotel was excellent you wont even need to eat elsewhere. Very clean, making it a good comfortable base for a stay in Kandy. Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I stayed at the McLeod Guesthouse in Feb 2022 and absolutely loved it. It has an amazing location with incredible views over the lake, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, the breakfast and evening food were great and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated being able to leave our suitcases with them whilst we went on a two-day hiking trip in the Knuckles Ranges. McLeod Guesthouse is just a few minutes from Expeditor so it’s very convenient if you’re going hiking with that company. The hosts very kindly bought train tickets on our behalf and were wonderfully accommodating throughout. They also have access to a very professional tuk tuk driver. Would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel in Kandy with some fantastic views . Ashan and his wife are genuine and helpful people . They helped us arrange our tour to knuckles and drop off to the train station . The knuckles tour with Ranjan has been the highlight of our trip so far and I would recommend for anyone looking for adventure to book this . Ashan was quick to reply to all my queries before our visit . The hotel is a 10 min walk to Kandy lake using the shortcut. The rooms are clean, spacious and provide all the amenities you will need . The views from the balcony are perfect to wind down after a long afternoon . We ate dinner at the hotel both nights and the food on offer was delicious . Thank you for your hospitality .

We were only in Kandy a short time and this was a lovely place to spend some of it. Stunning views, great breakfast. The owner arranged a transport for us down south which was very well priced and the driver was incredibly friendly. Highly recommended.

Propriétaire très accueillant tout en restant discret. Propreté des chambres sans rien à redire. Seul bémol une pression d’eau très limité dans la douche. Il fut qui plus est d’excellent conseil pour nous trouver un taxi jusqu’à Arugam Bay, Sagara, le meilleur chauffeur, extrêmement calme, prudent et gentil, et au prix le plus compétitif que nous ayons eu jusqu’ici !
