The Astor

The Astor is truly a hidden gem. Debashish, Siddhant, and Avijit made sure that our family had a wonderful stay. The suites were a delight to be in. Cozy and perfect amount of familial and vintage vibes. The breakfast served at the restaurant was good. The only minor inconvenience that one might have is that the elevator inaccessibility (Makes sense as it is a heritage hotel and thus doesn't have elevators). The team,however, makes sure that your bags reach the room on arrival and are safely brought down while check out! Keep doing well! Loved the stay.

All service are awesome.. Must recommend hotel.. Best for family. House keeping service is up to the mark. Quick response form house keeping.. Cleaning is good and daily towel n bedsheets changed. Spl thanks to Sidharth gopal abhijeet all staff are good in nature..

Amazing heritage hotel in the heart of the city. Absolutely loved our stay. Food here is mouthwatering. Wish could have eaten more here. Outstanding service. Would definitely stay here in a heart beat. Very close to shopping and must see places.

Great staff and well mannered. Had a great 3 days. Special thanks to House keeping executive Avijit and his team. The hotel is very near to most of the main attraction sites and also near to the park street. If you are coming for US Visa interview must choose.

I wanted to like the Astor. I’m generally a fan of heritage properties, but this one falls short. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep. There’s a nightclub in the back and a bar with a patio on the front side and both stay open REALLY late. After two sleepless nights, they did upgrade me to a quieter suite, but that won’t solve the problem for everyone. They are more interested in being a nightclub than a hotel. When I came down at 2:30 am to complain, the lobby smelled like an ashtray and there were a lot of drunk young people talking in loud voices. The desk staff is nice, but powerless to do anything about the situation. For a hotel at this price point, the breakfast buffet is pathetic and the service is slow and doesn’t seemed to want to be bothered. I chose the Astor because of its location and reviews, but certainly wouldn’t stay there again.

I have visited this place with my friends on Ashtami. It’s a nice place food quality is good specially cingri malaikari. Staff is very helpful and cordial, Sohom & Sujon they both very well behaved. Drinks is also available here if anyone likes to have beer or any cocktail also can have the same.
