The hotel room was not clean. The wall paper is taped up with masking tape. They only provided 2 towels. No bath mat, hand towels or wash rags. The shower has no curtain which makes the entire bathroom wet so you would think there would be more towels. No one came to ask for a turn down, change bedding, take out the trash, or offer clean towels. We were there for 5 nights. The sheets were stained. The second bed had a bottom sheet and a thin small green fleece blanket. The pillows were thin and hard and were not provided for the second bed. They brought water by twice. The hotel and restaurant staff were nice and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The gentlemen at the front desk were poor communicators and pretentious. I think this location charges what it does because it’s across the street from a fancy mall. At check out, we were at the front desk for 40 minutes while they rebooted their computer multiple times. Never once asked how we would pay. When the time came to take payment, they didn’t accept “international cards” and offered a QR code to scan for payment methods. All that did was open my WhatsApp. Finally, after I told him we had to leave to catch a flight and that we had been there for 30 minutes he said we could pay cash. An employee walked me around the block to an ATM that required 4 transactions to withdraw enough money to cover the expense. Then after we paid the front desk person told me we needed to wait for another hotel patron because there were issues with their room number. That was totally confusing. I had to be stern and say we paid and that we were leaving. At no point did I receive an invoice or receipt. It took 40 minutes to check out with no one else in the lobby for that entire time.
