Its very close to the train station. Reception was good. Many restaurants nearby. Overall good stay.

Our stay was great! Big room and clean. Quiet at night and walking distance to old ancient city. The lady boss was helpful and didn't charge us for extra water. The rooftop was amazing and we took a few photo down there. It's a place to recommend for people going to yunnan

We arrived quite late and there is receptionist waiting for us. She upgraded our room and we are really thankful for that. The place is very near to kunming railway station and alot of eateries nearby as well.

Arrive Kunming very early from the train Kunming Railway Station with 15 minutes walk, you can ask for luggage storage and use toilet to refreshing before explore city. Easy to access metro station is located underneath the railway station.
You can find lobby on the G floor (although there are few of hotels reception in same building), staffs are friendly and helpful (please use translator app for Chinese)
Room is modern with super comfort bed, TV, kettle and all amenities are very well equipped. Nice city view on high floor from 17th.

Admittedly, we didn't have high expectations with this budget hotel, we are still left with mixed feelings.
Although, we knew that it’s a permitted smoking room, upon arrival we saw a conspicuous "no smoking" sign on the table. As we first step into the room, the heavy smell of cigarettes was unmistakable. We assumed it was lingering from previous guests and attempted to air out the room for a day. However, upon returning on the second day, the odor was just as strong, if not worse.
For those looking to avoid such situations, I cannot recommend this hotel. Poor ventilation.
On a positive note, I must commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and helpfulness. As first-time visitors to China, they provided valuable information that enhanced our stay.
