"My stay at Jinbi Clubhouse exceeded expectations. The front desk upgraded my room for free, and it was spotlessly clean. I particularly loved their bedding; it was very comfortable. All the staff were incredibly friendly. Whether it was checking in at the front desk, having breakfast in the morning, or encountering housekeeping staff, everyone would stop and greet me politely. It felt like a very professionally managed hotel! I also have to commend the location – right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!"

"This hotel is only about a 15-minute drive from the airport, and they offer free pick-up and drop-off service. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room type, which was a thoughtful and detailed touch. The room was spotless with no strange odors at all. It had smart home features throughout and even came with a projector. The best part was that the projector already had a premium membership, which was incredibly considerate – you could watch any show you wanted! Plus, the surrounding scenery is really nice, and it was lovely to take a walk in the evening. There are plenty of snack stalls about 400 meters away, making it super convenient for food and drinks. It's definitely my top choice for a layover or short stay. For early morning flights, the front desk also calls to give you a heads-up, which is another fantastic detail!"

[Hot Spring Experience] You can enjoy a private hot spring right in your room, and the water quality is incredibly comfortable! You don't even need to leave your room to experience the freedom of a hot spring. The hotel's overall environment is also very luxurious, completely meeting 5-star standards. Service Details: 1. The breakfast selection was rich, and for two consecutive days, the dishes were completely different, which shows great thoughtfulness. 2. They even provided two different flavors of toothpaste with the toiletries. 3. When checking out, not only did they give us a souvenir, but knowing we were driving, they specially prepared a car air freshener. Fully satisfied, 190%!"

"After a week-long trip to Xishuangbanna, I came to Kunming hoping to extend my holiday, looking for a relaxing and comfortable hotel. That's why I chose Paperman. What first caught my eye was its ranking as the number one designer hotel in Kunming. It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from Kunming Station, so the transportation is very convenient. On the morning of my check-in, the hotel called me, but I missed the call. However, upon arrival, the staff immediately introduced the hotel's facilities and services and proactively upgraded my room type and offered a welcome flower gift, which was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel facilities are excellent, comparable to a five-star hotel. The room's amenities and decor are fantastic, and it's exceptionally clean. There's a complimentary mini-bar, a Dyson hairdryer, and a big-brand speaker. The hotel's breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks offer a rich, healthy, and exquisite selection of dishes. The hotel's most famous feature is the rooftop infinity pool, which offers panoramic views of Kunming, with the Kunming Twin Towers directly opposite. The concierge thoughtfully mentioned that I could book a professional travel photoshoot in advance, making it incredibly good value for money. Overall, the hotel is absolutely fantastic! I'm completely won over! I will definitely choose Paperman again on my next visit to Kunming! The hotel service is truly exceptional and attentive! Every time I left my room, hotel staff would press the elevator for me, and upon checkout, they even gave me a souvenir tea gift and helped carry my luggage to the car waiting downstairs."

The only minor downsides are that there's no coffee machine at breakfast, and the breakfast selection isn't very wide and is the same every day. However, it's still filling, and compared to other budget hotels, it's quite good. Definitely recommended!"

"Choosing Jia Hua Plaza Hotel this time was absolutely the smartest decision. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing five-star hotel. The location is excellent, with plenty of great dining options nearby, including many established old brands like Fuzhaolou. The lobby is grand and luxurious, and the central flower display is a delight to behold. The breakfast offers a rich variety of choices, covering all the best of Yunnan cuisine, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the value for money is outstanding 👍. Next time I'm in Kunming, Jia Hua will definitely be my first choice."

"The environment is awful. It's a commercial and residential building filled with low-end hotels. The rooms are small and soundproof. The twin room has only one pillow per bed, so you can't even lean against it. There are only two hangers in the entire room, and the toilet is old and basic. For a family trip, there were explicit photos of women prominently displayed on the table. It's really vulgar and easy for children to see. It's really not worth the price of over 300 yuan. It says it's close to Kunming South, but it's actually about four kilometers away. Beware! There were no welcome fruit or flower cakes, which isn't a big deal. The room facilities are just terrible!"

I gave facilities four stars because both the sink and shower drain very slowly. Service also received four stars because breakfast starts at 8 AM, but at 8 AM, only an aunt making noodles and rice noodles was present. The staff supposed to bring food hadn't even started their shift yet, leaving a group of guests wondering what to do. Especially during the holidays, many guests either get up early to travel or to go out, and 8 AM is already a relatively late start for breakfast. Not being able to start on time really wastes everyone's time."

The manager had set the access card for only one night, without properly checking the reservation system. In contrast, her partner was more helpful and accommodating. Despite these issues, we appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the stunning view of Kunming's landscape."
