This hotel is located right near the intersection of Shijo Horikawa. I checked in at midnight, but the front desk was kind and I was able to respond without a disgusting face. The room was clean and the amenities were substantial, and there was a USB port for charging, which was very helpful. However, probably because it was a premise to use a large communal bath, there was only a shower booth in the room. It may be a negative for those who want to slowly soak in the bathtub in the room. Personally, I was happy with the large communal bath, so there was no problem at all. It was also good that the transportation was convenient. From the Shijo Horikawa bus stop, you can go not only to Kyoto Station, but also to famous tourist spots such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, Toji, Nijo Castle, Arashiyama, and you can go to Gion and downtown Kawaramachi without changing trains. You will need to change trains once, but you can also go to Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple. If you walk a little, you will find Hankyu Omiya Station and Arashiden Shijo Omiya Station, and it is very accessible for sightseeing or business. There is a Family Mart just south of the hotel, and there are 7-Eleven ahead, so you don't have to worry about a little shopping. The accommodation fee was reasonable and it is a recommended hotel.

The staff are kind and friendly.
The rooms are not big but family of 3 with one big piece of luggage can easily fit in. Japanese style room is very charming but you might need some time to adjust to a mattress firmness.
The breakfast selection is rather limited and repetitive.

Very clean and all the staffs are friendly. 7 min walk from the Kyoto station. We used the free shuttle bus when we go to Kyoto station from our hotel:) Very convenient because it comes every 20 minutes. Also, if you miss the shuttle there is a bus stop near by (3 min walk).

The room was spacious and comfortable for two . Location was superb and the reason I chose this hotel. Only one pedestrian walk away from Kyoto Station which is the best choice if planning to use public transport to move around. The staffs are all super helpful and friendly. Malls, Restaurant and convenience stores are in vicinity as well. Would definitely stay here if coming to Kyoto again. And you can store your luggage if you came earlier than designated Check In time so no worries about your lugagge.

I am absolutely delighted! This is a Japanese business hotel. During my 2 weeks of stay, I saw Europeans only twice. The staff is very polite, cleaning, changing towels every day. Lots of disposable things and even pajamas. Clean, non-smoking hotel (which is a big plus for me as an asthmatic). In the same house Lawson 24 hours, there are excellent izakayas and soboshny (standing with your back to the exit of the hotel, we are a little to the left and straight ahead, otherwise I did not find them right away). The area is quiet, 3 minutes to the metro, 10 minutes to Kyoto station and a larger interchange, the bus to the oceanarium stops right under the windows. The hotel provides breakfasts (I did not go to them, they were very early) and dinners (you can choose, different every day, until 9:00 order). The hotel also has sento (!) and laundromats. I will simply 200% come here again!
2 minuses for me personally: 1. Early (very) breakfasts. 2. Terrible pillows (but it was the same in Osaka, maybe it's a regional feature)

Breakfast was very good. There is no fried food and the seasoning is only gentle. The way to take it on an ordinary plate without a partition without using a tray is very smart and good. On the day I stayed, I was surprised to find my favorite bread called Masa in Gion Bologna. I was impressed with the hospitality of delivering omelets in the open kitchen to my seat. The room is clean and functional, but it's too functional, so be careful that if you put the organisms in the first night and go out for consecutive nights, the electricity in the refrigerator will be turned off and it will not work (although this is my inadvertent). Very satisfied, I will use it again.

When visiting Kyoto, we wanted to enjoy some time in an onsen resort so we decided to spend two nights in Ogoto Onsen. After checking the details in their website, we booked a ”Biwa no kaze”room with private onsen and view of Lake Biwako. And we were not disappointed. The room looks newly renovated, and is very spacious with two beds and sitting area plus a tatami room. They offer different dinner packages, and we have chosen crab with steak as the main dishes for the first night, and lobster with shabu-shabu the second night. The foods were of very high quality, tasted and looked very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide selection of different items. The ryokan is excellent in nearly all aspects. We would stay here again when we next visit Kyoto.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights for purposes. I chose this one near the station because of the location, but the room is a business hotel type and is by no means large. Is it kept clean? I couldn't deny that the equipment was aging, so I entered the room and there was a spot that was noticeable. Although it is 2 consecutive nights, the card key will not work at 11 o'clock the next day, probably because I booked one night at a time, and an error occurred. I asked the front desk to deal with two stories, but I went to the front desk again without apologizing and went to the front desk again. From the time of check-in, I couldn't feel the service spirit at all at the front desk, and it was clerical. This hotel seems to have nothing to do with that. Because there are usually more people cleaning the room for one night, the aunt uses the entire corridor to spread the used linen in each room, and it is difficult to walk in the corridor. The elevator is also occupied by a linen transport cart around 1100-1300, and it is difficult to get there. It's okay if you just sleep, but it feels a little expensive for that room and service.

This station is a big station, only 30 minutes from Kyoto stops, about 15 minutes.
Generally, the tour will go to this station and take a cruise ship Baojinchuan.
I want to go to the overpass early in the morning, and I want to go to the same two-jo Kyoto. I don't go to the station and I can take the bus for more than half an hour.
The north exit of the station is only 1 minute away. The nearest convenience store is the station. There is an Aeon supermarket and a restaurant within 5 minutes of the south exit of the station until 11 o'clock.
Single rooms are the size of a Japanese business hotel, absolutely no 17 square meters.
Breakfast starts at 6:45, and there is a rice ball to take away in a hurry.

6699nigelaStayed here for 6 nights. Staff fantastic, room modern with all usual Japanese up to date bathroom facilities. Just a 6 min walk from Kyoto central station so access to all other areas in Kyoto either by train, subway or bus very easy. Free extras were the afternoon tea, happy hour drinks and evening supper - rice with sauce and nibbles. A couple of the major Buddhist temples 5 ,10 and 20 mins walk also the Japanese railway museum. Loads of food choices at and around the station. Very clean and affordable.

Modern, clean, always with good music and smell, well furnished with wood, concrete, and plants, with a lovely bakery at the entrance, and a fantastic restaurant serving a delicious and abundant breakfast. The room was very well modernly furnished. They offer you many experiences, and even an electric bike to visit Kyoto (that I really enjoyed). The staff was very friendly, even if sometimes it was struggling to talk due to poor English knowledge. It is very close to Higashiyama and Gion, which you can reach by walking 15-20'. The rooftop bar serves excellent cocktails. Additionally, the price is low for the service and the quality offered! FANTASTIC!

I really like the relaxing style, but I'm worried about customers who don't even wipe the carry case. I think it's the same as walking on a tatami mat with bare feet. It would be great if you could use disposable paper towels to wipe at the entrance. The free private bath is a type that you use after washing in the large public bath, just like La Vista. There are hot springs and others. It's enough because you can use the 30-minute time limit. Each person had a luxury of one place. Ice cream after taking a bath, morning drink, and night crying soba are common. As for the third one, I can't participate yet because late hours are heavy on my stomach. Dinner is a Japanese course. Choose from 6 types of obanzai at the end. All types can be refilled and returned. You can choose either rice or noodles for your meal. It's not a luxurious ingredient, but I'm satisfied with the volume and taste. Breakfast is a buffet. How much is common, but everyone seems to be less interested than Tokyo Bay. I had a lot. The room is a compact twin. Shoji screens and bamboo Towa style I want a space to put my bag. Amenity is also a style to bring what you need in common. No waste. Buffet of tea.The variety was delicious. I was also interested in Arashiyama, but I thought that mutual use would be convenient if there was mutual cooperation such as luggage delivery. I saw several staff members in training, but everyone, including the front manager, was kind and comfortable. If you go to Kyoto again, please stop by.

Nnatashahad a pleasant stay at kyoto tokyu hotel! the room was clean, spacious and the staff are so friendly and sweet ~ they have a shuttle bus that goes to Kyoto station every hour which is so useful! the shuttle bus stops just right outside the hotel :) will definitely come back again !!

PPoh LamVery convenient location. Close to station and many nice quaint eateries. Impressed with the size of the room and services rendered by the front desks. Perhaps can improve by providing a better illustration of the sightseeing attractions and types of foods available in the close proximities. Overall a very pleasant stay for me

GGuest UserI used double － m for one person, but when I entered the room one step, I thought, ”Is it not so large?” In fact, when I was arranging my luggage in the room and moving color 々, I realized that if I was alone, I would take a room that was quite easy to use. Cchiwaithe location is great right within the city center. our room was large, and with a large bathroom. Kyoto station location offers a lot of eateries and shopping spots. Good food and great shopping experience.
