"The hotel is located in a small town, which fits the feeling of a village (not a derogatory word). You must drive here (there is no public transportation). The hotel is very quiet and feels very safe. The room is very large and fully equipped with a washing machine, a full set of kitchenware, a refrigerator, a sofa, a dining table, and a large balcony with a dining table where you can sit outdoors and watch the sunset and drink and eat, which is very comfortable. The hotel service staff is warm and polite. We arrived at about 12:30 noon. According to the previous hotel feedback, its policy is to check in at 4 pm, but the uncle at the front desk called and asked, saying that the room has been cleaned up and can be checked in for us. It is really good, otherwise we can only put down our luggage and go out. The hotel is not far from several attractions. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. The hotel is also about 10 minutes to drive to several large supermarkets in the town. Staying here is really the best choice for vacation. The key is high cost performance."

"We've stayed here before so were looking forward to going back. The gardens down to the beach were previously were tranquil and interesting, the pool a lovely attraction and great views. However, this time we were quite disappointed. The pool was still good. But the bar/cafe didn't open until 12 and closed at 6pm. Lots of people didn't arrive to sit around the pool until late afternoon so 6pm closing is too early. The lack of food on offer was poor. We didn't eat as we didn't want a toasted sandwich. Breakfast is not great. It's a buffet in a very small area so when the hotel is busy it's hard work. Same limited selection daily. Some days pastries good - other days quite stale. No atmosphere around the bar area in the evening. It was used to sit and wait for someone before going out. Good car parking, great location just out of town but an easy 25 min walk."

"The hotel was surprisingly good, with a pleasant environment and spacious, clean rooms. We informed them in advance that we were traveling with children, and they even arranged a first-floor room next to the playground, making it easy for the children to play. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the nearby town, which has many restaurants. The walk to town passes a beautiful beach, perfect for taking photos, but I wouldn't recommend swimming."

Carvoeiro B&B and Spa

"We had a wonderful week here. It is a bit far out of Carvoeiro itself but as we had a hire car it didn’t matter. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. We had a large comfy kingsize bed and a small fridge in our room. The bathroom was great with a huge walk-in shower. The TV was great for late night chilling. The facilities are truly awesome. Great pool, spa, hot tub and sauna. Breakfast each morning was a delight. So much choice and beautifully cooked scrambled eggs, fresh pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice. But the best thing are the gorgeous hosts. I truly did not want to leave and cant wait to return. Thank you so much x"

"We were a unsure when we first arrived here. Our room was large and the patios are huge. Everything was spotless and it felt new. Lots of sunbeds and a nice pool. Would have been nice to have sunbed mattresses. This is one of those places where they give you towel tokens. It’s then down to you to take your towels back to reception to exchange them. Would be simpler to leave a towel bin near the pool and put fresh towels in your room each day, or have them near tomhe pool to collect. Many of the staff have limited English, which is not their fault, but it does make if difficult ordering things sometimes. We considered using the restaurant but it had no atmosphere and zero views. Location is OK, there is a great beach around 10 minute walk away. There’s a restaurant opposite the hotel, but take cash as they don’t accept cards and you’d have to have international banking set up if you wish to pay online. Breakfast was reasonable and lots of options. You won’t be disappointed here, but you also wont’t be wowed."

"Excellent stay! The location is perfect, very close to Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova beaches, allowing for easy walks and enjoying incredible scenery. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The pool was always clean and very well-maintained. The poolside bar and the hotel restaurant are excellent, and all the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. Whenever any issues arose, the front desk resolved everything quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation. It was an excellent experience, and I will gladly return. 7 nights"

"Advantages: This is a relatively large and beautiful resort, with two-story bungalows inside. It has different indoor and outdoor swimming pools, 2 restaurants, and a supermarket. The price/performance ratio is very high. I lived in a 2-room apartment with an independent kitchen and terrace. The bathroom is in the middle of the straight line between the two rooms, which plays a role in sound insulation. The room itself was quiet and spacious. There are several deck chairs on the terrace. The kitchen has an oven, electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient. Disadvantages: The cleaners clean the room only once every two days. It takes 7-8 minutes to walk from the hotel entrance to the room. Only when you first check in, there is a battery car to take you off (free of charge), because the guests brought their luggage."

"Booked two weeks here via Travel Republic. Worked out slightly cheaper than booking direct. Place is superb. The pool is just gorgeous - around 20m long, always ample sunbeds. Beautiful gardens - all well maintained. Orchard with pomegranates, peaches, olives, citrus fruits etc Place is spotlessly clean - stayed in 2 bedroom town house which was cleaned every other day. I brought my own dishwasher tablets as only given 2. No shower gel provided - worth noting! Two washing tablets provided. Fitted kitchen with everything you need, comfortable beds. Wifi ok. If you like coffee maybe bring coffee pods as only 4 nespresso ones provided. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Booked a boat/cave visit direct via her. Can have fresh bread delivered daily if wish. Also can have pool/beach towels for fully refundable deposit and changed as often as like. We visited Silves for an hour nearby - wouldn’t recommend - run down and very hot! Car probably essential as walk to beach or Carovoeiro probably 20 mins down and back up a steep hill. Gated community- feels upmarket and safe, very quiet, seems to attract a nice calibre of guest. Polite, respectful etc We shopped at Lidl - 12 mins drive away. Excellent value and quality. Area very busy in August with locals holidaying (beaches, water parks) etc. Wouldn’t return to the area again as like to try new places but felt we had really found a little gem here. Would recommend. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday and found the facilities, cleanliness, service and environment extremely high standard and good value. Didn’t miss having a cafe or bar on site - think it maintains a tranquil atmosphere and the house had a drinks fridge and normal fridge/freezer which we stocked full or drinks and snacks and all the properties are a stone’s throw from the pool area."
