Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Beyond the fact that it was disgusting, it is simply dangerous, a pigeon sitting on a surface of bread is diseases. Another thing, there is a nice bar by the pool but there is only one bartender/waiter so the waiting time to get a drink is around 25 minutes and the service is not very welcoming either. There are two large and beautiful pools but the water is really cold (it's a shame they don't heat it) and it will be really difficult for smokers. There are no smoking areas at all in the entire hotel except for standing in the strong sun next to a bin in the corner of the pool and restaurant area, unable to sit down and unable to put down a drink. Positives - Gorgeous pools with plenty of sun beds no need to wake up early and reserve, the beds at top in middle of the pool are great very comfy. Aqua fit was fun the lady instructing it was lovely. Bar in hotel was nice better cocktails than pool bar. Nice spacious rooms I liked that it was little villas which meant no noise from other guests. Room was clean. Entertainment was good for children. Was aloud to keep our Allinclusive wrist bands on after checkout untill we went. Lots of seats in bar area and outside. Grounds are well maintained. Animation team were good - Lots of toddlers and little children having lots of fun around the pool. Negative - restaurant is not appropriately staffed we went a few evening/ lunches with no drink due to it being table service for drinks, asked to be served and waiter not had time to come back. All waiters seemed very rushed of there feet. Also tables aren’t cleaned and re made quickly enough so we had to ask for a table to be made most evenings and then they were remade with no cutlery. The Pool bars pina coloda is not a pina coloda just tasted like a sour slush unfortunately. Lots of ques at the bars which resulted in us going out most evenings. Lack of entertainment for adults. Upon checkout we asked to leave our luggage in the luggage room we were told we aren’t aloud due to it only being for check in guests!! We were told we had to leave them in the open infront of reception, anyone had access to the bags and luggage. Despite expressing our worries and the luggage room being empty we were still told NO! I went back to get something out my bag and nobody looked or questioned if it was my bag I could have been anyone!! We had to keep our passports and documents in our beach bag and watch them all day at the pool and making sure they didn’t get wet. I found this very disappointing even 3 star hotels have luggage rooms for all customers. I’m sure when somebody’s items get stolen this will soon be changed… Overall 3* hotel due to service and food

We stayed at the Sheraton for our anniversary in 2023 and was so impressed that we booked a second stay in April 24. Customer service is second to none throughout the hotel compared with other hotels. Special mention to Elena and Tom who exceeded our expectations in actioning our personal requests. We stayed in a garden room which gave us easy access to the hotel's fabulous outdoor areas, the room was refreshed daily and the beds were so comfy. Large bathroom with a bath and separate walk in shower which gave a powerful supply of water. The heated swimming pool was just the right temperature and you could always find a sun lounger and shade. We stayed B&B this year which gave us the opportunity to try a few local restaurants however by far the best meal was at the hotel's Asian themed restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of choice including a good selection of bread, meats, and smoked salmon, washed down with a glass of cava . The hot breakfast buffet served the best grilled pork sausage outside of the UK ! Entertainment in the piano bar each evening was excellent and although our children are grown up, there was additional entertainment for the young ones. Already planning a return visit, possibly November and/or March to celebrate our birthdays.
