Premier Inn Leicester City Centre

The location is perfect but the room standard is varied. Couple months back I stayed in the renovated room without bath but shower. I wanted to the same type of room this time but I was put into a disable room which had some very strong chemical smell and the bathroom conditions was really bad with mould and colour. Tried to change room but was not allowed. They said they could only move me to another disable room even I paid the same price for the renovated room.

I used to like this Premier Inn as I was quite happy with my previous stay. However this time we were allocated with a low floor and not renovated room. When I requested for room change, I was requested to wait at the lobby till 3:30pm whilst the check-in time printed in the hotel confirmation was 2pm. During the stay there was no room cleaning, and no replenishment of toiletries which was made our stay not comfy. Pictures #1 and 2 are room not renovated and pictures #3 and 4 the refurbished one.

The thing I love about Premier Inns is that they are always "what they say on the tin". Good locations, clean & friendly consistent in standard. Not least was this the case with Leicester City Centre's P Inn. We had a lovely welcome, a good 5th floor room with plenty of extra floor room space and all for £62 per night. Plus we took a Meal Deal - so with bed, full English breakfast and evening meal it was £115 all in (for 2). Breakfast was a highlight - not least because young student Naomi couldn't possibly have been more helpful/friendly. Well done Naomi. So yes, Premier Inn's are exactly right for us - thank you.

The hotel is conveniently near to the station and near to restaurants and shops. You can travel there by wheelchair as the station and hotel are accessible. The room was clean but poorly furnished. No phone or fridge.

Very good value for money, very clean, location is perfect. Family room is amazing kids loved it. Breakfast is great choice and drinks .

I have a problem the last night and the manager Alex was running around to try to sort this for us,she offer us a free breakfast to apologize and give some treats to my 2 kids.Room lovely and clean breakfast amazing thanks to Paula and the staff.

Terrible Terrible parking. Had lots of luggage and there were no spaces to stop or park in the limited area in front of hotel. Went into car park. Took 5-10 min to find a spot that the car would fit into. Also very limited parking. Went and checked in and prepared to leave. Asked front desk to gain exit pass. Could not help as parking is different company. Had to pay £4 for 20 minutes of parking. Ridiculous! Room had mold around windows. Bed comfortable. Room very basic. Only good thing was basic wifi was good for streaming Netflix.

Staff are lovely. Always willing to try and help. Hotel room itself was cold, damp and dingy. Awful experience akin to staying in an old tower block flat. Felt worse than my uni accomodation from 10 years ago

Stopped from Friday to Monday. Staff was very helpful and courteous nothing too much trouble. We decided to do meal deal Saturday night and Sunday Breakfast. We had already picked what we wanted as we had downloaded menu. What a disaster they are trialling a new menu. The menu is terrible. We do enjoy a steak to celebrate occasions but not 1 on the menu not even a gammon steak or prawn cocktail either . Enough we told our server we weren't stopping and went elsewhere to eat. This also impacted on Breakfast as we went elsewhere also. Meal deal price has recently increased to £26.99 pp so times this by 2 and money lost to company. Beware of meal deals being trialled in about 8 different premier inns. Bring back old menu and a little tweak is OK but not this. Otherwise we had a good stay
