Stayed here overnight for work. Dinner was amazing and the signature eggs I had for breakfast was second to none. The room was well presented with a great bed and pillows. Bathroom spotless and the shower was fabulous. The only thing I would suggest is for there to be some kind of grip on the shower cubicle floor as it did get very slippy. Something to think about

Absolutely amazing place. The staff are super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant does amazing food, and their cooked full English breakfast is made to order and the best I have had in years. Excellent wifi, great rooms that are once and quiet. Highly recommend it

We had a lovely meal at the Castle Hotel, the food was Excellent and the Service was Wonderful, our Waitress Izzy was attentive and accommodating and answered all questions and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a very pleasant visit, both for food and friendly welcoming staff. We will definitely be coming back. Also in a lovely location.

Went with a group of walkers, 14, and very efficiently served mainly by Caroline and Pam who were excellent. One member had a bacon sandwich and was really impressed. It was excellent how they responded to our group at short notice. I do go there myself most weeks and always find it really good.

I stayed a couple of nights with one son when visiting my other son, and we both enjoyed staying at this hotel. The beds are comfy, the rooms are quiet, and my son was very appreciative of the chocolates and biscuits in the room. I loved the proper teapot and the iron and ironing board! Everyone was really friendly and helpful as well. If I need to stay in the area again I would have no hesitation in staying again.

We had a great Mother's day brunch today, I had a vegetarian full English which was absolutely delicious, as were all the other dishes. Helpful friendly staff, and lovely surroundings, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and will definitelybe goingback!

Lovely hotel close to the castle. Rooms are not large, but totally adequate, with a good size walk in shower. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate, along with complimentary small bar of chocolate and biscuits. Fresh milk is available from the bar. The car parking was good. The breakfast was very good with many options, both traditional and continental style, Pam was very helpful. If the weather is dry, its well worth the short walk around the castle grounds. I would definately return.

I feel as though a shout out of praise for Caroline and her team at The Castle. Met up with friends for a morning coffee and freshly baked biscuits. Fabulous atmosphere and surroundings. Staff always friendly, courteous and obliging. Thank you for always making us feel welcome.

Myself and two friends meet up every 4-6 weeks to go for a breakfast and a catch -up. Today we went to the Castle in the picturesque village of Kirby Muxloe. Parking is free and the car park has ample spaces ( it’s nice to be able to park without panicking to remember to key in my number plate somewhere on the establishment) . The premises are very clean and we were told they have had a recent refurbishment. We were served by the very welcoming Caroline and all three of us had the full English breakfast with a variety of coffees. The food was very good quality ,was freshly cooked and was the perfect amount. Really enjoyed the whole experience and we will definitely return again. I should also give Paul a mention who patiently helped me to log onto the wi-fi.
