"We chose B&B de Valkenhorst for its location - close enough to family to be walked several times a day. We got so much more than just the right location. Johannes is a very relaxed host who seems to be always on the go, and for whom nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are high quality with plenty of choice (and with cling wrap offered in case you're defeated with the quantity and want to take some for later in the day). We'll certainly be returning."

"Located near the train station, a ten-minute walk away, the place is very clean and has all the necessary facilities. The only problem is that the mattress is too soft and the pillow is too high, making it uncomfortable and tiring to sleep in. I recommend upgrading the mattress and pillow."

"This hotel was booked to stay after a festival. I was not a problem to get the key of the room at 11:00. Very nice room incl mini bar (of course paying), air-conditioning (including heating). The garden also has a number of seats where you can sit fine and quiet. Breakfast was well arranged, there was a lot of choice. I can only say this b&b is recommended. Friendly owner not to forget."
