Universal Hotel Laguna

We enjoyed the stay, it was fabolous. The rooms were clean, very clean! Everything we needed was available and staff was friendly. Kids enjoyed the pool and there were also possibilities to play ping-pong or pool. Would stay again.

Great food, nice staff, all purpose beach - snorkelling, bodyboarding for kids, shells on the rocky part of the beach. Although not as soft sand as other Mallorcan beaches, for us it was the best anyway.

We didn't actually stay at the hotel but were at the Laguna apar**ents and so were able to use the facilities of the hotel where we also enjoyed half board. The hotel appears to be run very efficiently by the manager and the cleanliness and attention to detail is fantastic. The pool and gardens are exceptionally maintained and the waiting staff and cooks are friendly and professional. The restaurant area was spotless and every item was replenished before it even ran out. There were 2 - 3 meats and 2 types of fish each evening plus several other dishes, a vegetarian selection and children's choices. The bread was superb and the choice at breakfast was huge. Justyna cooked amazing omelettes and crepes and was always friendly and welcoming as was the main chef. The pool was beautifully warm and the view of the beach from the pool was lovely. The sea was also a perfect temperature in July. My only gripes included the sun lounger policy - you can reserve a sun lounger by paying a daily fee so that you can have the same one each day. We didn't bother as it wasn't important to us where we sat. However you can be sitting on an unreserved lounger only to be told you have to move because someone has just chosen to reserve your one! It is rather embarrassing being turfed off and one poor family even ended up with nowhere to sit as all of the others were taken! The other annoyance was the 3.8 euro charge for a 750ml bottle of water in the restaurant. Still we loved the apar**ent and hotel and Canyamel so would definitely recommend this to others.

+ Rooms, cleanliness, location, tranquility, girls on reception, animation - Poor choice of food, personnel of the restaurant (not very involved into the process and ready to help), lack of clean cups and glasses during the breakfast, taste of water from the machine at the restaurant was bad.

Great value for money, amazing sea views from room, beautiful location. Service is impeccable and buffet with lots of fresh food and fruit, hot station, etc. Pool was clean, animation for kids was great.

Very quiet town, very relaxed. Hotel was very clean, staff all very friendly and food was excellent. It was 50 meters from the beach which was what we were after and there was also always room at the pool. The rooms were great and the view of the sea was epic. The entertainment in the evening was great, although i think the kids club could have been advertised a bit better...we would go back for sure.

We arrived very late at night, and given our room, 519 very very small, room door banged against the bed! We thought it was a single and they had placed a double bed in, spoke to reception ( not good English) who advised I speak in the morning. The lady I spoke with told me there was nothing she could do for 2 more nights, she did find us the morning of the move to say our room was ready, very helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location, beach, pool besides the small town. The restaurant was fabulous plenty of choice, lovely food, you’d be really picky not to find food CL you like. Mist of the staff very attentive, at times too quick to clear away your plate. One waitress I felt was over zealous to remove my bottle of water, that I had to pay £3.50 each meal for, I did overhear her explaining to other guests they could take the bottle and refill it at the water station outside the restaurant! I would rate this hotel 4 stars marking it down due to the initial room and waitress, BUT I’d also definitely recommend it and I’d return.

Highly recommend this hotel , the staff are the most helpful and friendly we have come across in a hotel and we have stayed in many , cannot rate highly enough , this hotel is immaculate spotlessly clean , if you are a couple or a family you will not be disappointed, from the terrace of laguna you are steps away from the beach , and a great beach bar with again friendly staff , and above average bar food,the view from our balcony was amazing thanks to each and every one of you , we will be back again and again

A cominciare dal personale che è competente ed educato, tutto in questo hotel funziona perfettamente. Il posto è stupendo con una vista eccezionale. Il cibo è abbondante e di qualità, il tutto in un ambiente comodo e rilassante. Un luogo nel quale ci ritornerò volentieri.
