Rice View Villa

A hidden oasis that is an absolute gem of an experience. Sights, sounds, service - all top notch and worthy of praise. Li was a star. Highly recommended.

Romantic location. We reached the Hotel by DiDi from Guilin (355 RMB). Heavy traffic in the region esp. on small serpentines took us +3 hours longer. I recommend to avoid the mountain rush-hours. You can’t park your car directly at the Hotel. There is a around 200 m path to reach the Location. The Hotel has had friendly service. The Building and rooms are made of wood, because of this it’s sometimes a bit noisy - but all in all ok. The Hotel has a small sports room and some nice plateau‘s for relaxing or reading and a pool billiard table. The pool itself hasn’t enough water for swimming but the water was fresh and clear an good to cool down during hot weather.

Wonderful journey we spent in your hotel. The service was amazing, the staff was always available at anytime, carrying and always smiling. The hotel is perfectly located with great view from the balcony of the room. We will highly recommend to all of ours friends. Thanks a lot again !! :)

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Starting from late night transfer to hotel, manager Lee helped us with everything, waited for us to make sure we didn’t get lost and prepared our room best way. During our stay he suggested the best hiking paths around, best restaurants to try local food, and he always was there for us whatever we need, this is gold, made us feel like we’re visiting family. The room is super cozy and the fact of not having TV is just brilliant in such an environment (if you really miss watching something, you can always use projector in a lobby which looks/feels more like a living room). We’re definitely coming back and suggesting this beautiful hotel to our friends, thank you for everything 🙏

Perfect place to stay while visiting the rice terraces. Beautiful building in a great condition. Very clean and comfortable. Nice view and great staff to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I can highly recommend the Rice View Villa.

Our stay at the Rice View Villa was wonderful. The location and the view are amazing, directly overlooking the rice fields. We would like to give extra credit to the staff members who were extremely helpful throughout the whole trip. They sent us a detailed email with suggestions on how to reach their place, helped to book bus seats, tickets and arranged a driver to take us up the hill. The atmosphere of this place is very simple and relaxing. They have a lovely little pool and are situated right next to all the main hikes. Also two adorable cats.

We had a wonderful stay at Rice View Villa. The spaces are thoughtfully arranged, very comfortable and clean. The view from the room and communal areas is breathtaking. Above all, though, our host Li was incredibly thoughtful, observant and caring. He was very helpful in arranging transportation to/from the hotel and around the area. Hosts like Li make any stay memorable. Thank you so much!

Didn’t rate higher because trip.com wouldn’t let me. Perfect hotel to escape from the city for a few days. The manager Lee and the girl in front desk speak perfect english. The service is simply perfect. With all details you could imagine. The hotel has a “home” feeling which makes the holidays even better. We booked the room with balcony and the views are incredible. We could even enjoy a firework show right in front of us! Swimming pool filled with the frwsh water from the mountain, a little entertainment area with billiards... oh! And the room comes with a JBL bluetooth speaker!! Also all amenities are eco-friendly. SAVE THE EARTH! Room provides complimentary water, coke and sprite, and different types of very good tea. No TV, which I think is really nice. The hotel is very quiet and calm. The smell of wood everywhere is really nice. For the ones interested in hiking, Mr Lee will suggest you the best paths and routes with all detail. Breakfast is very nice, can choose an option of western or chinese style. And great coffee!!! 10/10, will come back FOR SURE!
