While other locals might upcharge for food, water and transport, this hotel maintains honest rates. Cleanliness: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended!"

"This is a wonderful hotel! Obviously the view is the star of the show but the hotel does a great job highlighting it. The wooden construction makes such a peaceful atmosphere. And it smells so good:) The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. We had a relaxing morning sipping tea on the balcony. The small child loved the pool (billiards) and the pool (though it was a bit chilly when we were there). The path winds over the front terraces of many hotel and this was one of them. So fun to see travelers as we ate dinner. Easy hikes to other view points from the hotel door. The breakfast was nice. I thought the meals would have had more fresh produce given the season (spring) and location but it was still good. Highly recommend."

"I finally got to experience the stilt house I'd been dreaming of, and it was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived at the lodge, the owner's warm welcome made us feel right at home. He generously shared insights into the local culture and even personally drove down to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain to pick us up. Such thoughtful and personalized service is truly exceptional. Our room was decorated with great character. The stilt house design beautifully blended traditional charm with modern comforts. Outside our window, we were treated to lush, verdant mountain views. Waking up to such a breathtaking vista in the morning was simply invigorating. A special mention must go to the bamboo chicken and bamboo rice served at the lodge – they were incredibly delicious! The subtle fragrance of the bamboo blended perfectly with the chicken and rice, making every bite an absolute delight. This culinary experience truly enhanced my overall impression of the stay. I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the lodge – from the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms and the well-appointed facilities to the high quality of service. The genuine warmth and hospitality from the owner and all the staff made me feel truly at home. The next time I visit the terraced rice fields, I will undoubtedly choose this lodge again. "We stayed at Jinkeng Dazhai for two consecutive nights. The owner was incredibly helpful, adding us on WeChat and sending us the guesthouse's location. Upon arrival, he helped us with our luggage and took us to the visitor center to catch the cable car up to the Golden Buddha Terrace. Free breakfast was provided each morning, and we also had dinner at the guesthouse – delicious! The guesthouse has a great location; there's a path leading up to the Golden Buddha Terrace, but it's tiring. We took the cable car up one way, saving energy by walking down. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again if I have the chance to visit Jinkeng Dazhai again."

"I came here with my son and his grandmother. The guesthouse is a family-run business, managed by a young host and his parents. It was spotlessly clean throughout. They even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the village entrance and helped us with our luggage. The views are stunning, and it's wonderfully quiet. Visiting during the off-season meant fewer crowds, which was absolutely ideal. The passion fruit from the local mountain was incredibly sweet, and the air was wonderfully fresh. The host's cooking was also delicious. Both my mother-in-law and son thoroughly enjoyed their stay."

"The hotel is a little hard to find, but the owner is very nice, you can watch the sunrise while sleeping in bed, and the room price is very cost-effective! The dishes cooked by the boss are also delicious. You can have two dishes with one chicken. The chicken is real free-range chicken. The chicken soup is super fresh and oil-free. You can see the difference between it and farmed chickens without comparison! The original recipe of Bamboo Tube Chicken and Bamboo Tube Rice does not contain any miscellaneous condiments or the like, the ingredients are top-notch!"
