"This hotel is in the best location to visit all the rice terraces in Tiantouzhai. The onwer drove us from Ping'an Rice Terrace back to his hotel with a fee which is very reasonable price and super convenient for us. We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony. Our room is very spacious, cleaned and very comfortable. Breakfast is free and delicious. We'd lunch and dinner from the hotel restaurant too, good menu.  We highly recommend this hotel."

"The reviews were absolutely spot on: the owner has impeccable taste, is incredibly kind, and truly goes out of their way to accommodate any request. I highly recommend the Sunrise Loft room. The hotel is perfectly situated between Viewing Platforms #1 and #2, giving it an absolutely unbeatable, prime location. Even though there were only two of us, we booked the 4-person loft room, and it was fantastic to lie in bed and watch the rice terraces. Unfortunately, a typhoon brought rain, so we missed the sunrise. However, we were treated to a vast and ethereal sea of clouds. Despite this minor regret, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. The owner's homemade rice wine is absolutely delicious – cold, sweet, and refreshing. Enjoying it with tasty dishes like bamboo chicken was truly one of life's great pleasures. When we arrived, the owner kindly picked us up from the parking lot. On our departure, we were rushing to Yangshuo, and the owner recommended a driver who was not only charming but also incredibly skilled, navigating the winding mountain roads with impressive ease. Later, when we hired a car in Yangshuo, the local driver, upon hearing the price we paid for our transfer from the hotel, immediately exclaimed it was an incredibly fair deal. The owner is truly exceptional!"

"Found a hidden gem! The room design is fantastic, every corner is picture-perfect. The biggest surprise was the floor-to-ceiling window view; opening the curtains revealed stunning terraced fields. It was incredibly relaxing to just space out, far away from the city noise. As someone who appreciates details, I was extremely comfortable; even the toiletries smelled great. And most importantly, the restaurant's food was delicious! 😋"

"Our stay during this Longji trip was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is superb, offering picturesque terraced fields right outside the window. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening – every photo you take looks like it's from a magazine. The front desk lady was incredibly friendly; she gave us a detailed introduction to local activities during check-in and thoughtfully recommended some local delicacies. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. The service was also very attentive, always ready to help. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit to Longji. Highly recommended!"

"Really nice homestay hotel. Good location, one of the highest in Ping’an, so great views over the town and hills beyond. Friendly and helpful owners. We were picked up from the main car park on arrival for the ~600m drive up into the town. We got to Ping’an before the check-in time and asked to drop our bags off - the owners actually allowed us to check into our room (much appreciated). Room had a large king bed and a balcony. We were there in February - so the large hot shower and air conditioner heating were great."

"my friend and i arrived at the hotel pretty late and we were greeted so nicely and got to order some warm soup (the portions are huge, so you’ll never be hungry!) before being kindly escorted to our room. we also got a free upgrade and got to have a better view to the mountains. i believe it is a family business and every woman working there made us feel at home and safe. the food is absolutely delicious and the prices are great. it is very comfortable to be staying at a hotel up in the hills and to just go downstairs and have the greatest meal ever. we recommend trying the salty fish with eggplants and the fried rice, as they were our favourites. the rooms themselves were very warmly decorated and they have air conditioning, as well as wifi. we also had some laundry to wash and everything got taken care of. we got to have barbecue with some of the other guests that stayed there and once our last day arrived they all helped us book a bus ticket to yangshuo and drove us to the bus station the next day. our experience there was so wholesome and we would recommend to everyone visiting this nice family and try their absolutely amazing food :D"

"It can be said to be a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience. The facilities in the room were rudimentary and the mattress was very thin. It felt shaky even when lying on the bed. Several friends and I didn't have a good rest at night and it was very cold. The front desk staff is not professional enough, they are like temporary workers and they are very busy. Breakfast was too simple. When I went to have breakfast at 9 o'clock, there were already leftovers and almost nothing. If you want an extra bottle of mineral water to take your medicine, you have to buy it again, which is not a service like this in other hotels."

"My objective and fair evaluation is that there is such a four-star hotel in the county. It is okay overall, but some details are not good enough, or even poor. The layout and area of ​​the room are okay, and the hygiene is clean, but the mattress in the master bedroom (the one with a separate bathroom) is very hard, no different from a hard bed, and it makes my back and waist sore when I sleep, and there is no softness at all. The shower head in the bathroom of the master bedroom and the public bathroom in the living room has a very small water output, and the water is not hot, it can only be said to be warm. If the temperature had not risen on the day I stayed there, this water temperature would definitely catch a cold. This is not a bug that a four-star hotel should have. The most basic bathing needs cannot be guaranteed. This is zero points. 2-star hotels are better than you. Then there is the buffet breakfast, which has very few varieties. This is not the level that a four-star hotel should have, and it is not even comparable to Vienna. The drinks are only soy milk and black and green tea, not even milk and yogurt, not to mention coffee and juice. Also, there are no desserts or cakes, and the only fruits are oranges, tangerines from Guangxi, and apples in season, and bananas in the south. Are these common fruits expensive? "We had a wonderful stay here. The family-run property was renovated about a year ago, so everything felt very clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The views were absolutely stunning and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The location is also convenient within the village, with the nearest car park just a 2-minute walk away. That said, as with most homestays in the area, it is relatively remote. The nearest restaurants are about a 30-minute walk away, and taxis can be difficult to arrange. We ended up dining at the homestay and spending most of our time there, which we didn’t mind at all because the scenery was so beautiful that there was little reason to leave. The food at the homestay was excellent, with delicious home-cooked meals prepared by the owner. The owner also personally drove us to the train station at a very reasonable price in a comfortable Denza, which made our departure smooth and convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views and warm hospitality."
