"The hotel’s public areas are beautifully designed and well maintained, which initially gave a great impression. However, the room itself was quite outdated and lacked the comfort we expected. Unfortunately, the check-in process was frustrating — we waited over 20 minutes at reception, and the staff member was rather stern and didn’t seem very knowledgeable. Check-out was similarly inefficient, even though we had filled out the express checkout form in advance. Overall, a disappointing experience considering the hotel’s potential."

"After reading some of the the reviews I was somewhat concerned. I had read a review mentioning a particular unit and how dreadful it was but I can’t find it again. Very strange! Anyway we arrived only to find we were in that very same unit!😬. We unlocked the door with trepidation only to be pleasantly surprised. The unit is spacious and had a lovely view overlooking the bay. It had everything we needed and it was wonderful to be able to do all our washing ( 4 weeks worth) before flying home to the UK. Just a short walk to the tram. We were here when they were setting up for the Gold Coast 500 but even that didn’t seem to make things busier. it’s a little dated and some of the furnishings are really worn out but that didn’t impact on our stay and also I wouldn’t furnish out a rented property in the very best decor because it will get damaged. All in all very good value for money and we loved the apartment living. We’ve always been hotel people but this experience has made us think again. "
